Overview
The unofficial wikipedia guide for Stranded Deep, within this guide I detail each obtainable item within Stranded Deep, along with the creatures of the current build. I describe the items use, where to find them and some information regarding them; with creatures I state of where they spawn, which items they drop upon death and some information about them. This guide has nearly everything you need to know about any creatue within the game, along with a very large majority of the items in the game. This is NOT an official wikipedia guide, as such, content added within an update won’t be added into this guide for at least a couple of days; until I’m able to confirm the new content existence and use.WARNING this guide does contain spoilers, look at your own risk!
——-Note——-
This guide has been remade since its initial release, of which it was used for multiple purposes, such as crafting, items list, creatures list and some other minor helpful content associated with Stranded Deep. Since the game has changed massively since I last wrote this guide, items WILL be missing, if you notice anything that is missing – make sure to let me know in the comments of this guide, also if any content is incorrect, misspelled or doesn’t exist anymore please let me know.
Sorry, due to risk and verification I can’t accept any images for items in this unofficial wikipedia. All photos are taken by me, and thus some items may never get an image. I’m very much sorry about this.

CREATURES (Part One)
INFORMATION: One of the most feared sharks, being both large in size and often associated with gruesome deaths of humans. Surprisingly, Great White Sharks in this game are small in comparison to real-life counterpart; with them being only slightly bigger then a Tiger Shark. Great White Sharks are aggressive, however, they become more aggressive as you attack them.
LOCATION: Deep Ocean
BEHAVIOUR: Aggressive
DROPS ON DEATH: Nothing (Remains can be gutted for meat)
INFORMATION: The garbage disposal of the sea, the Tiger Shark is known to eat all sorts of items. While they’re not nearly as big when compared to a Great White Shark, in this game they appear similar in size. Tiger sharks are very aggressive and will attempt to flip over your raft, similar to the Great White Shark, if annoyed.
LOCATION: Shallow and deep ocean
BEHAVIOUR: Aggressive
DROPS ON DEATH: Nothing (Remains can be gutted for three large meat and three raw hide)
INFORMATION: It’s refreshing to have a smaller shark, which is both passive and can be killed in the game. Good way to take out your anger on the little guys, rather than the ones who’ll fight back… Actually scratch that. Blacktip Reef Sharks can be found within reefs, or sometimes in shallow waters. They are assumed to be passive, however, this is yet to be confirmed as of yet.
LOCATION: Reefs and shallow waters
BEHAVIOUR: Passive?
DROPS ON DEATH: Nothing (Remains can be gutted for two medium meat and two raw hide)
INFORMATION: Stingray’s can pose a massive threat to the survival of humans, however, it’s unknown to me if they are aggressive or passive towards the player within this game. Stingrays can be found in shallow waters and reefs.
LOCATION: Shallow waters and reefs
BEHAVIOUR: Unknown?
DROPS ON DEATH: Nothing (Remains can be gutted for two small meat)
INFORMATION: I’m still yet to confirm if the Whale still exists, however, I’ll make sure to update this description once I do. Presumably the Whale spawns in the deep ocean, and certainly would be passive, you’re unable to kill the Whale from previous versions of the game; of which might have carried over.
LOCATION: Deep Ocean?
BEHAVIOUR: Passive
DROPS ON DEATH: Nothing (cannot be killed)
INFORMATION: Crabs are often found on the shores of islands, and scamper around. If the player is to walk over the crab, there’s a chance that the said crab will nip you. While they don’t minus a health bar when attacking, over an extended amount of attacks it’s possible you may lose a health bar. This is yet to be discovered.
LOCATION: Islands and shallow waters
BEHAVIOUR: Passive-aggressive (Will nip the player, if they get too close)
DROPS ON DEATH: Nothing (Remains can be gutted for one meat)
INFORMATION: A very scary fish, might I add more I fear this fish more than the Great White shark! The Marlin fish is highly aggressive and will attempt to flip your boat, similar to other hostile creatures. Though, what makes them worse is their speed; because of this they can keep up with your boat, even if you’re rafting away. I haven’t confirmed if the Marlin can hurt the player as of yet.
LOCATION: Deep ocean
BEHAVIOUR: Aggressive
DROPS ON DEATH: Nothing (Remains can be gutted for meat)
INFORMATION: They forever hang out around the shores of an island, they do not attack the player (Could you imagine that?) and they do not move. Star fish cannot be killed, or in any sort of way; interacted with.

BEHAVIOUR: Passive
DROPS ON DEATH: Nothing (Can not be killed)

LOCATION: Reefs? Shallow waters?
BEHAVIOUR: Passive
DROPS ON DEATH: Nothing
INFORMATION: The biggest of sharks, the Megalodon preyed on large whales, this is due to the strong bite-force and size of the Megalodon shark. Currently, the in-game Megalodon is small in comparison to an actual estimated Megalodon size. The Megalodon within Stranded Deep is technically a “boss”, and has some special abilities, such as leaping out of the water and grabbing the player. Upon killing the Megalodon, the player is awarded with the “Megalodon Trophy”.
LOCATION: Seafort (At fishing boat, with whale stuck in net)
BEHAVIOUR: Aggressive
DROPS ON DEATH: Megalodon Trophy
INFORMATION: An extremely large and fearful creature, the giant squid is one of the three bosses within Stranded deep. The size of the squid is larger than any other creature in the game, besides the whale potentially; if the whale still exists within the game. The giant squid has many abilities such as a whip, which will launch the player a fair distance. The squid can also grab the player and drag him/her for a small amount of time. Upon killing the Giant squad the player will be awarded with the “Giant Squid Trophy”.
LOCATION: Buoy (Gripping onto the chain underneath the buoy)
BEHAVIOUR: Aggressive
