Overview
What I think should be implemented into Ravenfield. Hopefully these suggestions get implemented into the game.Please rate and feel free to suggest any additions in the comments!
Editor Features (For The Unity Toolset)
Changes that could be added to the map editor to make it a bit more convenient and thorough.
• The Ability To Set Vehicle And Turret Spawers To Spawn A Specific Custom Vehicle Instead Of Just Whatever One The Team Uses
• A Unity Toolset For Weapon And Vehicle Modding
• The Ability To Give Each Team A Custom Battle Plan From The Start
— It will be erased from the team the player is on, so they can strategise the way they want
• The Ability To Add More Teams Than Just Eagle And Raven
— Maybe you could make up to four different teams, the others being named something like Crow and Hawk and being yellow and green respectively.
— Of course not all maps would be able to support all four, each team would need a capture point from the start.
— The balance bar might be a bit broken though.
Vehicles
While vehicles can be modded into the game, new vehicle types and classes would be fun.
• The Ability To Land Planes And Helicopters (Kind of like in MOWAS2 where planes have a ground mode and aerial mode)
•More Tanks
— Amphibious Tanks (They can float on top of water, not needing to be spawned on the island they are needed at.)
— Heavy, Medium, and Light tanks ( Not much of a difference, just each one can be a bit different for variety’s sake.)
• A Dedicated Support Truck Vehicle Type
— It will automatically heal and resupply ammo to any nearby friendly units.
• Advanced Ship Combat ( So ravenfield can have a bit of WOW too)
— If this become a thing, then there will probably be some all naval maps, so it would be good to make aquatic capture points, (Maybe they could be buoys with flags on them?)
—The ability to move about on deck while the boat is moving to get to different seats without being killed instantly.
— Enemies boarding your ship and fighting on deck (Pirates of the Caribbean Style)
— Submarines, torpedoes and depth charges.
— Cruisers, Battleships, and Mini-Aircraft Carriers.
• More Planes
— Torpedo bombers that specialize in attacking larger boats, (Would be good for an all naval map.)
— Dive bombers that can hit smaller targets.
AI
While the AI is generally pretty good, I have a few ideas for improvements.
• Suppression
• More AI Abilities
— The AI abandoning helicopters if they crash or if the pilot leaves.
— The AI rushing to fill any planes or helicopters that have a pilot in the near vicinity.
— Bots with wrenches automatically fixing any nearby damaged vehicles when not engaged with enemies.
— Bots taking cover automatically when they need to reload.
— Bots firing at cover used by enemies to suppress them.
— Transport helicopters going back to spawn after paradropping a position to regroup with a fresh load of paratroopers.
— Bots having special AI types that change their behavior. A bots AI type will determine its preferred loadout style. Bots can change AI type on death if neccessary (For example, if the team loses all capture points with vehicle spawns on them, pilots will become a diferent class and vice versa.
– Zombie: Will ignore cover and suppression and charge the enemy blindly. Will only use melee weapons. Will only spawn if team is set to zombies in config editor.
– Sniper: Will use sniper weapons and only attack from long range.
– Commander: Only appears on enemy team, maximum one. The commander stays at spawn and is guarded by other bots. Killing the commander grants one hundred points. The commander will wear a hat similar the hat worn by the conquest mode lady and will always hold a commander kit.
– Pilot: Will pilot vehicles and turrets, instead of abandoning boats on shore, he will go back to spawn and wait for another load of troops, unless vehicles respawn as soon as they leave. Will only use wrenches and pistols.
– Assault: Will charge the enemy at close range, prefers rapid fire weapons, grenades, and AT weaponry.
– Support: Will give ammo and fix vehicles. Spawns with ammo bag, wrench, and pistol.
– Medic: Will heal nearby friendlies. Always spawns with medkit and is unarmed.
• Improved AI For Aerial and Naval Combat
— The infantry and land vehicle AI is pretty great (but could still use improvement) however the AI for planes and non landing craft boats, could be improved a little bit (especially if water combat becomes a thing)
• Unit Formations
— Infantry will attack in different formations, such as a spearhead formation when charging a defensive position, or scattering apart when approached by helicopters or after frag grenades are tossed at them.
— Attack helicopters will escort transport helicopters, and fighter planes will escort bombers to protect them.
— Machine gun jeeps will escort tanks, support trucks, and transport vehicles to protect them from infantry with AT weapons.
Equipment and Weapons
There are hundreds of mods for weapons in this game, but more official ones would be excellent. More gear, armor, and tools are also very useful.
• Bodygear
— Pieces of bodygear will take up your equipment slots, so you will have to chose whether you want tools or extra protection.
— What bodygear looks like when worn can be changed based on a team’s skin.
— Helmets that protect the head. There can be pilot helmets and normal helmets.
— Bulletproof vests that absorb a certain amount of damage from shots you take.
• Flashbang grenades that “blind” bots and you.
• An official minigun weapon, (All of the modded ones I found were horribly unbalanced.)
Miscellaneous
Stuff that should be in the game, even though it doesn’t fit into any other categories.
• More Battle Plan Options
— Instead of just attack and defend, maybe you could make them patrol between two points, or defend a non capture point position
• Optional Fog Of War Mechanic
—- Makes sure you can only see the units that you and your teammates see on the minimap
—- It wouldn’t affect the ai as they only engage enemies nearby anyways, you would just need to think strategically
• Bot Nametags
— It would be useful to know which bots are which when looking at the leaderboard.
• Conquest Mode
— This doesn’t even need to be said, but I am so hyped for it to come out!
• Ragdoll Button
— Instantly makes you ragdoll, could be used to sneak attack enemies (If something is introduced to stop them from shooting downed soldiers.
• No More Balance Bar
— Just have it make you type in how many bots you want on each side.
• Completely Naval Maps
— This would be great if advanced water combat becomes a thing.

I will try to respond to comments and add more to this list as often as possible.
Even if none of these ever get implemented, Steelraven7 has done an amazing job so far and the game is already great.
