Intro

Well what do we have here. It’s Brav……….. I mean Super Neptune RPG the 2D platformer/RPG hybrid thingy that might excite newcomers to the series or turn-off existing members of the fanbase. If you’re new to the series just know that this game DOES NOT represent what the rest of the games are like (Do I have to do the timeline/recommended order thing too?). Alright enough of that and now that I’ve beaten the game and still have much more of my time to waste (I really need a thumbnail too), I thought I would hep everyone out a bit as a majority of the achievements are easy to come by besides 4 missable ones (don’t worry I made back-up saves that will come later) and the ones that require extensive grinding.

MISSABLE achievements (require additional playthroughs): Sleepwalking, Play from Far Away with the Lights On, Unnecessary?, nasu wo [K]utta

Everything else is obtainable in 1 playthrough (unless Steam has too much traffic which causes some achievements to NOT unlock despite meeting the requirements)

Tips
– SAVE very often as this game is buggy. If you need to backtrack in a dungeon just head straight for the exit as there’s a chance something will freeze in battle costing you lots of progress (Take Neptune’s BTW)
– There is NO New Game+ so be sure to get the 4 missable achievements on your 1st (and hopefully) only playthrough
– Learn to rely on healing skills as IFI decided to jack up the price of restorative items for some dumb unexplained reason
– Buy lots of Charms/Panaceas or begin to rely on the Clear skill as lots of enemies and bosses midway through the game love to spam the instant death (Doom) spell which will automatically kill you after a few seconds
– Metal Dogoo’s appear randomly so be sure to ALWAYS have Granite on hand (Big Bang for later) as it easily kills them and will net you tons of EXP and Credits which reduces the amount of time you would need to grind significantly
– Skills become permanent once a weapon/armor/accessory has been mastered
– Try NOT to spam HDD tranformations once you obtain them as there’s a chance you’ll get stuck in battle (happened after my first one)
– Neptune’s Ultimate Weapon(it’s actually Memeito) along with Armor and Accessories can be obtained from the clerk on Poly Island. This shop only accepts Magic Stones in case you were wondering what their use was (Each item is worth 100 stones). Speaking of which… is it just me or is this shop glitched? It seems you can’t purchase all 5 items despite having 500 stones. If anyone else is experienced this problem, please send a comment in the comment box.

Are there any more playable characters?

Yes, there’s 3 additional playable characters being IF, Compa and Artisan who are all DLC characters and that’s it. Don’t expect Nepgear, Uni, Rom, Ram, Peashy, Plutia, Uzume, Gold Third, the Makers, Segami or any other character you can think of

How long does it take to get 100% achievements?

I’d say about 15-30 hours with 30 being the slowest someone can take and thanks to IFI for the time required to reach Lv. 100 far longer then it needs to be

Is this game canon?

No, it’s a spin-off and the “1000% Please be excited” mainline game is still in the making and I’m not talking about the e-ninja game either.

Achievements (1/2)

After recruiting both Noire and Blanc at Ratchet Volcano and defeating the quest boss go back to the Guild im Lastation. After the cutscene an NPC named Saya will appear near the item shop and speaking to her while a bit to the left or right will trigger Noire’s sleepwalking event.

The timeframe for this event begins after Vert rejoins the party for the last time and the The Final Companion achievement is earned. Instead of heading towards the Leanbox Harbor, head straight to Leanbox and go a bit towards the inn. This will trigger an event with Vert.

Histiore’s Tome I: Automatically obtained during a cutscene in Akoop Ancient Archive

Histoire’s Tome II: Leanbox (Puddingo or Double jump required)

Histoire’s Tome III: Lastation (Puddingo required)

Histoire’s Tome IV: Sakura Road

Histoire’s Tome V: Compa’s House

Histoire’s Tome VI: Yanderella Castle

Histoire’s Tome VII: Submerged Tower (Choose to continue searching)

When you first arrive at Compa’s House and obtain Histoire’s Tome V, go the Resistance Base in Leanbox and talk to Artisan. Proceed to Twin Mountains in the 3 locations below and return to base once more to talk to her again.

Afterwards teleport to Compa’s House from the save crystal and take a left towards Sakura Road. The final cutscene between Neptune and Noire should occur

Defeat the Dogoo at the start of Lastation Ruins

You’ll earn this after defeating the quest boss at Ratchet Volcano

You’ll earn Puddingo at the end of Akoop Archive

After defeating the boss at Ratchet Volcano with Blanc and Noire, head straight to the Guild in Lastation

You’ll get this when Vert rejoins the party for the last time at the Resistance Base

You’ll get this when Noire is rescued from her cell at Yanderella Castle

Earned during a cutscene in Lowee

You’ll get this after the 1st fight with Filyn

Defeat Ultimate Dragon at the top of Bombyx HQ. Make sure to choose “No” or else you’ll get stuck in the void and will have reset the game and redo the previous boss fights

You’ll get this after beating the game

Achievements (2/2)

Metal Dogoo’s start randomly appearing from Twin Mountains and are heavily RNG based (besides one specific location). They are immune to just about everything but can easily be killed with Granite or Granite Blocks for most of the game

Self-explanatory

You’ll learn how to use break attack during the boss battle with Lifeless Soldier at Westwind Valley. Hold Left thumbstick and press X in this case (only Neptune is available at this point) to execute a Break Attack when the gauge at the bottom reaches 1 level.

I’m not sure about the exact number but the achievement should unlock after about 20 treasure chests have been opened

Self-explanatory

This should unlock from a combo of about 50 hits. Just use Chrom’s Break Attack to unlock it easily

After beating the game there will be a cutscene at Compa’s House and it will automatically unlock.

Obtained after clearing 30 quests. Shouldn’t be that hard of a task as there’s more than 30 quests in the game and each city and dungeon always has NPC’s lying around. Most of the quests do require key item drops from enemies or chests that are scattered all around and only appear when the specified quest has been accepted

Only 15/20 are required of the Hunt Quests are required (which includes the Hunt: 0 quest during the story). This should be tackled as one of your last tasks when your very high leveled as you’ll be able to dispose of the Bounty Bosses much easier.

Auto Haste + Half AP + Elementless + Big Bang will kill any of the bosses easily and you won’t need to worry about Elemental/Physical resistance or absoption.

Make sure to have the Bronze Crown (Yanderella Castle – Basement) which has the Credit Boost ability. The ability only seems to be exclusive to Noire apparently so make sure it’s Mastered once obtained. The best place to farm credits is the secret Metal Dogoo room at Inside Histoire as you can get the other grindy achievements out of the way at the same time. This achievement also appears to be based on the amount held instead of accumulative so keep 250,000 Credits on hand.

INSIDE HISTOIRE – Hidden Metal Dogoo Room

Before beginning, make SURE to have the Energy Scarf which is located in Sakura Road or the Training Wristband (Hunt 8 Quest) as both have the XP Boost ability and thankfully all characters can learn (and keep the ability once its mastered)

Okay maybe this achievement isn’t as difficult as it seems but my point still stands that Granite Blocks shouldn’t be 10,000 Credits when all the elemental ones in the game are still 800.

Some @sshat at Idea Factory International thought it would be funny to jack up the price of Granite Blocks from 800 Credits each to 10,000!!! which makes acquiring this achievement far more painful than it originally was. Anyways, in Inside Histoire there’s a hole near the end of the dungeon that has a secret room full of Metal Dogoo’s…….. wait I’m not done yet. The problem is the Metal Dogoo’s level up as you do and require more Granite or Granite Blocks to be defeated.

The only options now are to buy 99 Granite (9900 Credits) or hunt Neptune, Vert and Chrome’s Ultimate Weapon for the Big Bang ability.

Big Bang is a nice alternative but not THAT useful when the Metal Dogoo’s have 120HP and tend to run away before being killed off. I recommend the combo Auto Haste + Half AP + Elementless + Big Bang as the the AP Gauge takes long to build up and Big Bang takes quite a bit of AP

This method is also a good way to farm formation points, skill points and credits (for the achievement at least).
