A Basic Guide to Using Superbuild (Tool in Creative Mode)
SuperBuild Basics – Making a Sphere.
this brings up the superbuild control panel, here you can adjust settings of the shape you want to superbuild.
at the top it says “block type” this is the block that is selected that will be superbuilt with
you can change the block type by press 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 and F1 to F7 selecting blocks on your hotbar tab at the bottom of the screen. If the “block type” says “not buildable” then choose a different block type.
next hit F9 to toggle what shape you want to superbuild, lets choose a sphere round solid, so click F9 until the circle shape is selected and so you have chosen the Sphere shape.
F10 defines if the shape is solid or hollow in the middle, press F10 to toggle solid or hollow.
press X Y or Z these keys are what set the dimentions of the of the superbuild object, in the round sphere we only have X for the size since its round, so press X to increase the size of the sphere shape. You can change the increments with the Alt key.
…So point at a hill or tree some distance away from you or build some blocks on top of each other up in the air and away from everything and point at the top block, then you should be able to see the size of the shape you are going to superbuild, you may need to be some distance away from the block you are aiming at to see the shape outlined, if you want the size decreased smaller then hold left shift key and press the X Y or Z
pressing F11 “i think” changes the complexity and speed the object will be built, so for a quick fast result while experimenting press F11 until it says “instant”.
pressing the END key toggles where the anchor of the object is set for placement, from the base/bottom of the object to the middle center.
pressing INS (insert key) will build the object at the block where you are pointing at on your world, and pressing DEL (delete key) will Dig the shape of the object out of your world from where you are pointing at.
