The Dawn of Turtle Kind
[Swamp Lurker is, sadly enough, removed. RIP our turtle friend.]
So you obtained the Lurker but have no idea how to use it.
I am going to change that for you and assist you on your journey to being the dominant species! There will be four different sections of each mechanic, from head moving to saving your shell!
The Head of The Destroyer
So you try to look around and say “Wtf why cant I turn?”
Now, the Lurker is something else, Its head moves independent, if it moves too much it will spasm/turn. To actually move your screen peacefully you must move AND move your screen.
Now, The bite has a large cooldown, aim it and hit with its large bite range. You can swallow most fish whole first thing, but they will be too big for that by the time you obtain it.
Now, the bite is strong and wait till atleast level 3+ until attacking the catfish!
Armor of Kings
Now the shell of the turtle is NOT to be used when low on oxygen. You are rooted in place until the blue ring is full. When in the shell you cannot be damaged at all, and can be incredibly useful when you’re injured and on deaths doorstep.
Now say you attack a catfish and put on the verge of death. You can shell and wait for it to lose interest. Now. In multiplayer this will be the most beautiful creature ever because of that shell.
Inhaleeee
Now, the Lurker has limited breath, the Lurker must swim to the Surface.
Yes you heard me… SWIM. Shift is a dart for most fish, the shift will make it swim but it doesnt last long. The oxygen will kill you when it runs out. The Lurker is best near the walls or middle island for quick breaths. Most fishes avoid it because thats where danger hangs out. So you must sometimes venture into the depths of the forest/coral/seaweed.
The Fall of Kings
So you’ve conquered the swamp, but suddenly a group of Raptors flip you! You cant get up and you are struggling, you are out of stamina and used your shell earlier. You are slowly dying, the light flashes before your eyes.
Its a turtle!
What do you expect when it lands on its back?! If you get flipped over on land you may be stuck and forced to restart. The lurker *USED* to be one of the best ‘fishes’ out here! But now, it’s gone 🙁
