T.A.W.S INTRODUCTION
T.A.W.S COVER
T.A.W.S is a kind of realistic game but it’s kind of like T.A.B.S except more modern, possibly more realistic, and instead of battles, IT’S WAR!
You still get to pick your units, and sandbox, but there’s a story in this one!
You can make your own flag, anthem, or either anything!
I don’t know.
But this was made in possible memory of those who fought in all the wars who defended us and others.
My grandpa was one of those people, he was in the korean war, he survived it. Bless his soul.
and now, onto the game!
THIS IDEA WAS MADE BY GENERAL [WORKER] HALFLING, BERSERKER DID ALMOST NOTHING, BUT HE STILL DID DO SOMETHING, AND AHS CROW ADMIN.
DISCLAIMER?
Please bear in mind that this is still a Work In Progress concept, and is not an official game yet, this is only an idea for landfall, sadly i cannot talk to them in person, so i give my ideas through the community, everything is optional and can be edited by the landfall team if this idea gets accepted.
Enjoy looking at these concepts!
Halfling Army Units
Dictator Halfling is the user’s general, basically the highest rank there is in the game, the general gets to control the units and stuff, basically it’s an avatar and the faction they have chosen,
All generals cannot be put into battle.
The Halfling Soldier is a basic soldier for the Halfing Empire, it has a gun that has 30 bullets, but reloading takes 10 seconds.
Sadly, i got lazy trying to make it seem like it was holding the gun.
More to come!
concept for screen or other stuff.
here’s the screen, ta-dah.
Disasters
Oh lord, how i love disasters!
in T.A.W.S, there is a risk of a disaster happening during the war, there are 3 different types of Disasters,
1: Natural Disaster [Example is a Tornado.]
2: War Disaster [Example is an illegal weapon use, or either a nuclear missile launch.]
3: User Disaster [The user controls the disasters in sandbox.]
However, in story mode, and multiplayer, the user cannot control disasters, except for War Disasters.
The use of War Disasters is limited to about 5 uses of War Disasters.
Nuclear Launch takes away all,but is still an option when all points are taken away, use of illegal weapons takes away 3, Chemical Bomb takes away 3, Revival Bomb takes away 3.
Most of the minor war disasters, or everything else, i don’t know, is about 1.
DISASTER ICON CONCEPT [OPTIONAL]
User Disasters
This can be in Sandbox, it can affect the user’s army if they want, or either the other army, which is possibly also created by the User, or either a different user in the same room as them, they share the computer to take turns.
Disaster 1: Nuclear Weapon Use
Options are: Davy Crockett Device [Smallest Nuclear Weapon currently] It can be delivered by Train, And airplane.
Second Option Is Little Boy, it can be delivered by plane, train.
Third and Last option is: Fat Man, can only be delivered by plane.
However, the user must raise the TABCON to 1, or keep it there, it’ll do it by itself if a nuclear device is headed towards enemy land, if the other side does not have the nuclear weapon yet, it’ll surrender if the other user selects the option to.
If the enemy user has a nuclear weapon, it’ll respond back with permission of the enemy user, causing both sides to lose, and they’ll get an achievement called “I am become death, the destroyer of worlds!”
Disaster 2: Use Of Illegal Weapons
This will give you an achievement known as “Greedy Cheater”, if they use a banned weapon in the game [one example is flamethrowers or either laser blinding things] this will result in nothing but support in the enemy team possibly, and the choice of using illegal weapons is perm, however, this will also result in budget loss for the weapons.
Disaster 3: Chemical Bomb Use
This will give you an achievement known as “Tantalum Boron Sulfur” [TABS]
There are 5 options of Chemical Bombs, only 3 currently.
1- Toxic Bomb
The Toxic Bomb is basically has the same effects as a Potionseller’s potion effects, people get dizzy, green, but they get damage, and die.
It can be delivered by plane, put in a missile, or either a train.
The Toxic Bomb will have a large green mushroom cloud, and an ominous noise will happen, like that one sound in simcity when there’s a nuclear meltdown it’ll make this horn noise. You can look it up if you like!
It can be used infinite times in sandbox, but has a 1 minute cooldown, in story mode, or multiplayer, it can be used a couple of times, i’m going to say 5 times, it will have a 3 minute cooldown before another toxic bomb can be placed.
This is an explosion of a toxic bomb, it’s only a concept and horribly drawn.
The effects of the explosions are, a bright green flash once detonated, then sounds of a geiger counter, will be heard, then after a few seconds, an ominous green mushroom cloud will be seen emerging, after a few seconds, a cloud above the toxic mushroom cloud will be formed, and expand, i don’t know, something like a nuclear bomb, the aftermath of this will last for a couple of minutes, many people will still be affected, and the force of the bomb will be strong, many units will be thrown a couple of meters if near the bomb, while people directly in the explosion will instantly die, or if they have a lot of health, they will survive, but still be dizzy, and weak.
The explosion of the bomb is the size of the cave in Tribal 2, possibly.
The Bomb is the size of a knight.
2- Pyro Bomb
The Pyro Bomb is a very lethal bomb that causes mass fires in the detonated area,
It causes heavy damage to bunkers, and spreads fires, it also does some damage to the lungs of the enemy unit due to the smoke.
It can melt enemy tanks, and melt enemy bunkers or buildings.
In sandbox, you can use it infinite times, but it still has a cooldown, in story mode, or multiplayer, you can only use it 3 times, and it has a longer cooldown.
The Bomb is the size of a halfling, and the starting fire is the size of a tree giant,
The Starting Fire is what causes the fire to spread, it’ll be put out in 5 minutes if it’s raining, but it’s incredibly hard to put the fire out by units.
3- Zombie Bomb
I know, it’s incredibly unrealistic, but i like zombies! The Zombie Bomb can revive dead allies and make them fight again, and more aggressive, if they find an enemy, they can kill their enemy, and turn them into a zombie too.
The Zombie Bomb can also be used on alive enemies, and dead enemies, to make them fight their own side.
However, on story mode, or multiplayer you can only use 2, a 5 minute cooldown shall occur once used,
In Sandbox, you can do it infinite times, and a shorter cool down shall occur once used.
The Zombie Bomb’s Explosion is very similar to the Toxic Bomb’s explosion.
except it’s bigger, and less brighter.
The Zombie Bomb is the size of the wheelbarrow, the explosion is twice the size of the cave in Tribal 2.
The Zombies will have green skin, and possibly yellow eyes.
They will possibly be slow, or fast depending on what type of unit they are, halflings are fast, and are more lethal and dangerous depending on the number of halflings.
More Disasters to Come.
Natural Disasters
Natural Disasters can be controlled in Sandbox, but not in Multiplayer, or story mode.
The Level of the disaster [severity] can be chosen by the user by a bar,
This is an example of the bar i’m talking about.
1-Volcano,
You do know what a volcano is, right?
A volcano can erupt in FinkleVille, No Man’s Land, Mount Windy, The Grasslands, and New Valk City. Once the disaster is selected to begin, a loud explosion will be heard, units nearby the eruption site will be deaf for a moment, then smoke will appear from a volcano somewhere in the map, or in the background, if it is in the map, lava will pour from the volcano for 1 minute, then it’ll stop, eventually the lava will cool down.
hey that actually looks like a bill wurtz sketch
2- Tornado, this can occur in all maps.
The Tornado can pick up tanks, and units, and delay planes, it can destroy buildings located in the map that are near the tornado, a storm cloud will expand across the map, a funnel will be made, depending on the selected categories of the severity of the disaster, OK is basically a F-0, and an F-1, Normal is F-2, Severe is F-3, and F-4, STAPH is F-5, The user will decide where the tornado will form, however, the tornado cannot form instantly, the storm cloud must arrive and form.
3- Meteor, can occur in all maps.
The Meteor can be placed wherever the user might click after selecting the disaster,
The Meteor will arrive through the sky, covered in flames, and a trail of smoke will follow it, if clouds are present, it will make a hole through those clouds when it passes through those clouds due to the force, it will have heavy impact on the ground, and form a crater that will be there for the rest of the round, or either when the game has ended.
4- Storm, can occur in all maps.
The Storm will be everywhere on the map, eventually make a tornado if it gets powerful enough, but it requires permission from the user if there will be a tornado
There will also be lightning, thunder, possibly some wildfires if it hits a tree, units can be hit by lightning, and be instantly killed, however, this is really rare, let’s say, 2.3 out of 100 of a chance of this happening, however, if this happens, the user will get an achievement called “Fort Jackson” [as a reference to the soldier who got hit by lightning, cause the soldier gets hit by lightning in taws]
5- Tsunami, This can only happen in Paradise Beach
A tsunami shall occur if the user decides to, however, if it is STAPH level, the fighting will stop at the spot of the wave, all units drop their guns in shock, most people will get out of slow tanks, and then have a truce in order to survive, this is optional though, i’m just thinking of it.
The Tsunami will cover most of the land next to the beach if in the OK. Category, if it’s in the normal category, the tsunami will be high enough to reach the hills, causing the bunkers to be covered in water, if it’s in the STAPH category, the entire beach, and most of the land will be covered in water, the wave is as high as 4 ice giants and the cave in Tribal 2.
6-Plague, All Maps.
A Plague will be slow but very lethal, it will cause units to die on the battlefield without physical damage [aka bullets or swords or anything] and if it’s in the STAPH category, the battle will stop and there will be a truce and they will work together until the plague can be cured, the option for a truce will appear on the user’s screen, and if declined, the battles will continue and the plague will continue spreading, more medics will be needed.
More to come.
Mega Weapons
Oh yes, the OP units.
The Mega Weapons are basically heavily armed and lethal, ominous units.
Most of them might be unlocked by achievements, or either in cheat codes, you can unlock them instantly.
Mega Weapon 1 – The LandCrawzler – Inspired by the Landkreuzer P. 1000 Ratte.
The LandCrawzler is only used by the Halfling Army [Halfing Empire]
This Mega Weapon can be unlocked by getting an achievement known as “Tank Stampede”
Tank Stampede can be unlocked by using multiple tanks, like 100, or more, and killing multiple enemies, or either enemy tanks in a single battle, then do this like 5 times, or either use it on boss levels, or something.
Then it will give you the LandCrawzler, a huge tank that’s basically the size of a mammoth, or 2 mammoths, just big.
It has 2 tank guns on the top, i made a picture to prevent confusion.
all shells are high explosive shells, and cause heavy damage to smaller tanks, critical damage to soldier units, and heavy damage to enemy planes.
The LandCrawzler has an small Soldier-Storage room under the large tank gun, it is used to store soldiers and to fire at enemies whilst inside, Soldiers can leave the storage room in order to fight on land with permission by the user.
The LandCrawzler also has an Anti Aircraft Missile, used against incoming enemy planes that are nearby, or either heading directly towards the unit.
It causes incredibly heavy damage, commonly will destroy the plane instantly once it has hit an enemy plane. The Anti Aircraft missile is located in the behind of the tank, it is an orange, black type looking missile.
It is the size of a normal halfling, and has a long cooldown, i’m saying like around 40 seconds, or either 1 minute and 25 seconds.
The LandCrawzler also has a Cow-Catcher, which is located in-front of the tank, it can run over enemies, and easily destroy enemy tanks, it can also help defend the tank once an enemy shell has been used against it, once it has made physical contact with the Cow-Catcher, it will bounce off, nearly heading back into the direction of which it once came, only it will not reach the starting point of which it has been fired, it’s either going to be halfway there, but if the projectile is fired at an alarming speed, it’ll bounce back directly at the starting point, or either break the Cow-Catcher, doing medium damage to the tank.
The price hasn’t been decided yet, but i’m guessing for the health, about as strong as an ice giant.
More to come.
