Before you start reading, in Tattletail, go to options, Brightness, and set it at max. It will help alot.
Alright, welcome to my guide for Tattletail. It covers Nights 1-4 (Night 5 coming soon!).

Meet The Tattletails
The Talking Tattletail is a 1998 toy brand.
To keep the Tattletail from talking the player must feed, groom, or charge him.

Mama Tattletail is a larger version of the normal Tattletail.
She was banned for murdering several employees during a commercial filming.
It is also notable that she changes shape during gameplay, from a Harmless Children’s toy to a
Toothy killing machine.
Night 1: A Night to Remember
Night 1 is the first night in the game, Mama Tattletail is not active.
Task: Open your Christmas presents early.
The presents are located in the basement.
Click and hold to open them.
Task: Feed Tattletail
To feed Tattletail, go upstairs to the fridge, then click & hold.
NOTE:remember the placement of the fridge, it will be useful later.
Task: Groom Tattletail
A brush is in the living room on the couch.(remember the placement)
Task: put Tattletail away
Put him back in the box, then wrap him up.
Task: Go back to bed
Is that a phone ringing? Should you answer it?
Night 2: Minor Mischief
Night 2 is the second night. Mama Tattletail is not active (for most part)
Task: Investivate the noise
Go to the laundry machine in the basement, open it, you will find
Tattletail, grab him
Task: Charge him (I think)
There is a charger in the middle of
the basement, use it. (Remember placement)
Task: Play with vase
Play with the vase in the basement
(be prepared, the lights will go out)
Task: grab flashlight
The lights went out, stay calm & grab the flashlight (you have to shake the flashlight to make it work, RMB to shake) next to you & leave the basement
NOTE:You might see some glowing red eyes somewhere, and
that is Mama Tattletail. I don’t think she can hurt you, but be aware of her.
Task: Put Tattletail back in his box.
put him in his box, and wrap him up
Task: go to bed
you might hear a phone ringing on your way to bed, you can answer if you want.
Night 3: Mama’s Boy
Night 2 is the third night. Mama Tattletail is active (not all the time, but at some parts)
Task: Investigate Noise
Go in the basement, Mama Tattletail will be sitting there.
Task: put Tattletape in her
There will be a tape sitting on the ground next to Mama,
pick it up, and put it in her. (Have fun with her Nightmare fuel story! :D)
Task: find Tattletail
he will be upstairs in the living room.
Task: give him to Mama
go to the basement, Mama will not be there (Spooky!)
Task: put Tattletail away
put him back in his box, then wrap him up.
Task: Clean up Tattletail’s mess
Tattletail made a mess upstairs, go clean it up! (grab your flashlight on the way up)
NOTE: Mama Tattletail will be waiting for you, the lights will go out, you have to sneak past her. Try to avoid eye contact. Once you enter the living room the lights will turn back on & Mama will be gone.
Task: go back to bed
Oh! another phone call!
Night 4: Funny Games
Night 4 is the fourth night. Mama Tattletail is active (at some parts)
Task: Investigate Noise outside.
Go out the back door, into the garage. Tattletail and his friend will be Chatting.
Task: Pick up Tattletail
Pick him up.
Task: Play hide & seek with Tattle’s friend.
Click on his friend.
Task: survive for 30 seconds while Tattle’s friend hides.
The lights go out. Mama Tattletail is on the hunt. SURVIVE.
(What I did is hide in the garage, with my back against the wall, and kept my flashlight working)
Task: find the friend.
He’s under the X-mas tree.
Task: Play Hide & Seek again.
Click on his friend. WAIT! first go and recharge, feed, and groom Tattletail.
Task: survive for 1 minute
You know what happens. (what I did is hide in the bathroom, sitting in the bathtub, with my flashlight working)
Task: Find his friend (let’s just call the friend Yellow)
Yellow is hiding in your closet.
Task: Play Hide & Seek again. (last time!)
Recharge, Feed, Groom, then click on Yellow.
Task: Survive for 1 minute & 30 seconds.
Survive. (what I did is hide in the hallway, in a corner, with my flashlight working)
Task: find Yellow.
He’s in the basement.
Task: pick up tape
Pick it up
Task: play tape on your Television.
Prepare to be creeped out.
The Night Ends here.
Night 5: The Party
Christmas Eve is the fifth night. Mama Tattletail is active. (At some parts)
Task: bring Tattletail to the basement.
The basement door is closed. You have to go through the front door and find the second entrance.
Before you do that, though, it’s best to open the present in the living room first. It’ll make things easier.
Task: put Tattletail on the charger.
Put him on.
Task: Find yellow upstairs. (in the present you opened)
The lights will go out, Mama is on the Hunt.
Task: bring Yellow downstairs.
When you grab him, his “Groom” bar will be on zero, quickly grab the
brush next to you, groom him, and RUN (or walk, idc as long as you live)
when you get down, place him on a chair.
Task: Find Blue in the Garage
The lights will turn back on, your safe to travel to the
Garage. Unwrap the present and open the box, then grab him.
Task: Bring Blue downstairs.
When you grab him, his “Food” bar will be at zero. Hit the fridge on your
way to the basement. Not to mention the lights will go out ;).
Task: find cupcakes upstairs
There are some cupcakes upstairs, grab them, (pic coming soon)
then bring them downstairs and place them on the red carpet.
Task: find lights upstairs
Take the lights from the christmas tree, then bring them downstairs to the red carpet.
Task: Mama stole the Candles. Find them.
Just destroy the vases (Green Ones) the candles are randomly inserted in some of them. Mama Tattletail is active for the whole part.
Task: Relight the Candles.
After you collected the candles and place the candles, just relight them.
Task: Observe the Ceremony.
Congratulations! You just defeated Mama Tattletail!
Task:Banish Mama. Destroy the Tape.
Go to the flying glowing tape and destroy it by holding on it.
Task: Go to Bed.
Chirstmas Day
Task: Open up your present.
Open it.
If all else fails…….
Debug mode.
To enter debug mode, press “~” “TAB” and “CTRL” at the same time.
After that, press Tab. From there you can type commands to do things like instantly
Completeing levels, and giving yourself eggs. For a full list of commands, type “help” in
The console. To exit the console, press Tab again.
