Achievements
Syndrome has 21 achievements:
- 16 for progressing the story
- 3 for picking up the three weapons
- 1 for healing 500 health
- 1 for collecting all text logs
Story Achievements
Sorted by unlock order – you shouldn’t have any trouble unlocking these.

Access deck 5
Unlocks on first arrival at deck 5.
Fourth level of Hell
Access deck 4
Unlocks on first arrival at deck 4.
Give us the tools, and we will finish the job
Pick up tool
Unlocks on picking up the tool in the Storage Room on deck 4.
No lock is unbreakable
Pick up hacking device
Unlocks on picking up the hacking device in Rear Stabilizer on deck 4.
Going up the ladder
Access deck 6
Unlocks on first arrival at deck 6.
Down into darkness
Access deck 3
Unlocks on first arrival at deck 3.
Trapped like a trap in a trap
Survived a trap
Survive the turret trap in the Lower Comms Room on deck 3. Stay behind the crates near the hackable console on the right to survive.
Master of puppets
Have a droid working for you
Unlocks when you use a droid to clear the gas leak on deck 3’s Engine Room.
My best friend is the wrench
Got the Valkenburg running again
Unlocks after boosting the thrusters in deck 4’s Engine Room.

Unlocks on first arrival at deck 2.
Into the bowels of the beast
Access deck 1
Unlocks on first arrival at deck 1. This deck is accessed from the Service Elevator on deck 2.

Unlocks on first arrival at deck 8.

Deactivate the ship’s firewall
Unlocks after using the Captain’s Head to deactivate the firewall on deck 8.
The beast is dead
Defeat the Beast
Unlocks after defeating the beast, analyzing the data and returning to deck 1 to access the Docking Station.
I have a syndrome
Complete the game
Unlocks after finishing the final sequence in Shuttle Bay 2 on deck 2.
Gun Achievements
Simply pick up the three guns for these achievements. They can be missed since none of the guns are required to beat the game, but they’re available at anytime in the game provided you have access to the deck they’re located on.
One man with a gun can control 100 without one
Pick up pistol
Pick up the pistol on deck 6. It’s on some stairs near Crew Quarters.
I don’t need to be careful, I’ve got a SMG
Pick up SMG
Pick up the SMG on deck 4. It’s in Navigational Systems.
When in doubt, fire your handcannon
Pick up Cannon
Pick up the G9 Cannon on deck 1. It’s near the northern save point, see below for an exact location.
Miscellaneous Achievements
The first step to healing, is recognizing there’s a wound
Cure 500 Hp of damage
Healing is done via Healing Kits and food. Healing Kits will restore all your HP and food restores a small portion. 500 health points isn’t a lot and you’ll probably unlock it about halfway through the game.
Once you learn to read, you will be forever free
Read all logs
Read all the text logs in the game. There are 55 total, but it unlocked for me after 54 presumably because of this. See below for full details.
