Fallen Earth - Curious Debris Node Co-Ordinates


Hi all, this is my first attempt at writing a guide so go easy on me as im no acedemic. This is a work in progress which is good as i will be fixing it up and making corrections as i come across any errors.

Throughout this guide I make use of co-ordinates so if you dont know how to use co-ordinates in the game here is a simple and basic step by step on how to use them.

1. Press M to bring up your map.

2. Right click on the map to bring up a waypoint window and enter the following co-ordinates.
X. 4241523 Y. 3222766

3. Press 'Enter' and look on your map and radar map, there should now be a yellow X which
will lead you to the co-ordinates you entered.

4. Press ALT+P to open your waypoint menu, here you can add, delete or edit your waypoints.

I numbered the waypoints in order of location starting at Linewood, then Kingman, Ascendant
Ridge and so on to help me decipher which co-ordinate is where but im sure you can come
up your own labeling system.

Feel free to use mine though.

NOTE: This is just a guide so as a sidenote I will add that I have read on the 'help chat' channel that certain nodes give certain loot but I can't confirm this, I cant be stuffed trying to generate statistics for loot drops on each node. This means you may have to run through a few times to collect the randomly generated loot.

NOTE: If when you scavenge the node you dont get a book you will get scrap paper instead. When the mission is completed any left over books you may have should sell well on the Auction House, I sold mine 'Cheap' for 4 blue each, sets and collections sold for alot more though. Well worth your time considering this guide will save you about 3-4 days for each sector!! Sigh... I will never get those days back...

NOTE: These co-ordinates are not pin-point accurate but if you stop on the X and look around you will easily see them, some nodes move around slightly as they spawn, I know this because I revisited these co-ordinates many times in an attempt to make sure they were pin-point accurate and well, they moved occasionaly. They never moved further than a few metres away though. Also you can do these in any order you like, I have grouped them together according to the area they are in but you can do them in what ever order you please.

NOTE: The respawn rates differ between the node images, bags of refuse and barrels respawn at a normal rate whereas the broken desk will have you waiting about an hour so dont wait, just move on to the next location, you can always come back.

Right, now lets get started!

Plateau Omnibus

PLATEAU OMNIBUS NODE CO-ORDINATES

First up you will need to find the 'Open Book Society' AKA the 'Archive Coalition' in Embry Crossroads. The person your looking for is 'Master Archivist Augusta Brown', if you entered the co-ordinates above she will be the yellow X on your map.

Speak to Ms Brown (X. 4241523 Y. 3222766) and she will explain to you about the Open Book Society and allow you to start the quests. You will need to seek out and collect various books. These books are tradeskill components that can be crafted into book sets and each set is made up of 4 specific books, you need to make 9 sets.

These book sets can then be crafted into Collections and you need to craft all 3 of them.
When you have all 3 you can craft The Plateau Omnibus which you can then hand in for 5AP and some rare materials for the area. Sound like alot of work? Thats because it is and just to make it harder, you are given no clue on where to start looking.

The only way to get these books (except the Auction House if you are really cashed up) is by scavenging nodes called 'Curious Debris' and becasue im such a nice guy iv recorded the co-ordinates of all the locations I have found these nodes and put them in order so you can just run through and collect them.

Now go to Linewood and key in these coordinates, label them in a way you can easily decipher them. Depending on the area you are in this will save you alot of travel.
