The Basic Guide for Building Builds in Skyrim for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition

The Basic Guide for Building Builds in Skyrim

Overview

This guide is for people wanting… A more specific type of character for your Skyrim fun. I do understand before everyone screeches into the comment section like dragons losing their Thu’um, “FudgeMuppet made alot of videos of builds, why should we think you’re as good as him!?” Or… something related to that, I have no idea. Well, this is for people wanting to create their own builds, or make a channel for builds for Skyrim, anything’s possible on the Internet really…So, let’s get started!

Selecting Your Skills

The basic building blocks of a build, is the fundemental skills Skyrim has to offer.
One-Handed, Two-Handed, Light Armor, Heavy Armor, Block, Smithing, Enchanting, Alchemy, Destruction, Illusion, Conjuration, Alteration and Restoration.

All of these can be ultimately combined to make a deadly combination.

One-Handed, Block, and Heavy Armor can make a tank.

One-Handed, Restoration/Destruction can make a battlemage.

Any school oh magic can count as a general mage.

So go wild with your creativity, mix it up a little! Skyrim is an RPG after all.

Investing Points

Now, when there’s a few perks in the skill trees that require more than one perk point, achieved from leveling up of course, to ‘buy’ it, you need to level up a bit more and get to the required level.

Just know this: You can actually not spend your points after you level up and assign whichever point to Magicka, Health or Stamina.

This is called “Investing Points”, and is useful for those kinds of perks.
Just remember, these perks will need a high level (Like 50 to 80) to get the full power of the perk.

And yes, it may be dumb making this part because it’s obivous, but hey. Just in case…

The Choice of Utilization of The Thu’um

Now, it’s a complete option to use the Thu’um (Shouts),and they do have ways of being handy in certain situations. Unrelenting Force can be used to either A. Stun your enemies to pick them off. Or B. Just launch them off a cliff and laugh at the stupid ragdoll. We’ve all been there!

Factions

Now, for builds, THIS is the main dilemma sometimes. Sometimes for the more… “Creative” builds, it can be hard choosing the factions.
