Overview
The basics of a standard starting prison and what you need for it. I will be going over what most of my prisons start out to be, and following these simple rules will make a start to a wonderful prison. Please rate and comment what you think of this guide and how well it turned out for you. Enjoy! Note I didn’t take any screen shots of Prison Architect, so I just put a koala, lol.
The Wardens
First of all, your prison should have the a warden. The warden that best worked for me was The Pacifer. He calms all prisoners, which will reduce riots from happening alot. He will also get the least dangerous prisoners. This helped me alot. Due to this it got me a bunch of people who were ready to learn. One prisoner was the best. He passed the Kitchen Safety test and the Foundation Education, (please forgive me if I got one of those names wrong.) which helped in money for the prisoners and helped in the kitchen. Now to the next step.
The First Buildings
The most basic buidings to start out with would be a large room with a Kitchen, Canteen, Dormitory, Shower, and Yard (Dormitory, Shower, and Yard are connected.) Oh, I almost forgot! You also need a Generator and Water Supply inn side the same room as your Storage. That would be the best rooms to start out with. Then you would need staff areas for Wardens, Staff Rooms, etc. That would get you through the first batch of at least 8 prisoners.
The Workers and Guards ( And the end)
You need 4 guards and about 20 workers for a good layout of security and work progess. This will help you shape a regular regime ( Of your choice, of course.) to get them parol or realesed. This will help you sell your prison for lots of income in the future. ( Always think about future events and situations so you can be prepared for them.) This will also help you get through a good 60 in-game days or more. Please share your thoughts in the comments below, this should get you throught the game for a pretty long time. Hope you enjoyed! Please like and message me for any questions. I will probaly make another guide shortly, see ya!
