The Beautiful Eraser for Prime World

The Beautiful Eraser

Overview

The Eraser can be summed up with one word: YOLO

Here is a quick test to determine if the Eraser is the correct character for you:

Do you enjoy killing?
Do you enjoy winning?
Do you enjoy killing and winning?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then you’ve found your calling!

Now Let’s Begin! … With talents of course!

Where else than with this character’s amazing set of synergetic skills?

Killer Instinct
The name says it all my friends. You’re literally rewarded by killing your enemies. The game believes it’s fair to have your talents cooldown faster after dealing death to minions or, even better, enemy heroes.

Insidious Throw
All you need to know is that it’s a ninja star. You throw it, it hurts and slows them. I’ll talk more about this in the strategy section.

Shadow Warrior
This makes you invisible. That’s right, you heard me, we can now become invisible, that means people can’t see us. Because we’re an Eraser, it doesn’t stop there, we need more. Because we aren’t just your run-of-the-mill shadow, we get more. We are more. While invisible, your speed increases. You want more boosts? While invisible, your health regen becomes borderline unfair. Not enough? My, my, you did pick the right character. Get this, your first attack emerging from your invisibility will stun the enemy. The best part, if this is used from native terrain, it lasts almost twice as long. Now that, is a skill.

The Mark
As we’ve just discovered, the Eraser is no stranger to perks. Well, my friends, this ability is no exception. Because we’re an Eraser, and we know we’re ridiculously awesome, we like to give our enemies some warning, just to let them know what’s up. How do we warn them? We put a big red arrowhead above their head. This accomplishes 2 things. The first: It lets the enemy know they’re seconds away from death. The second: it increases our damage done with our first attack to the marked target by up to 120% depending on the duration the mark has been on them. For now, just know that when it turns a deep red, strike! Oh yea, I nearly forgot, while the mark is on an enemy, it increases your energy regen by an unfair amount. It doesn’t end there. If used on native terrain, the talent doesn’t cost energy. Laugh Out Loud, NEXT.

Decisive Strike
This is will be the deathblow. The skill that sets you apart from all the other petty characters in the game. This my friends, is the real… deal? Whatever, for now, just know that you jump to the enemy and deal a huge amount of damage, face to face as to allow you to stare at the bleeding corpse of your freshly killed victim.

Now that we’re done learning why the Eraser is the best, let’s learn how to play.

Firstly, let’s break down the needed skills for this guy:

  • Intellect: YES
  • Everything else: NO
  • Okay, you can add a little bit of cunning.

Moving On:

Psychology of the Eraser
You’re an eraser, so you have to understand one thing. You own the map. The map is yours, and everyone’s characters belong to you as well. Never forget it. Often times, you’ll have to stop playing to laugh because your enemy isn’t learning to fear the mark. The key with the Eraser, is to teach your enemies how to fear. Remember, your enemies are entering the match thinking they are good. So it will have to be your job every game to remind the enemy team that death becomes them.

Objective
This part is easy. We are a slayer. We kill. Prime for us, doesn’t flow from the corpes of the minionish creatures, we earn our marks from our… mark? Good enough. But no seriously, your main inflow of prime will be coming from the direct deportation of your enemies heads from their bodies. A typical game should go like this: Start in a lane, farm minions until ult, go on rampage.

Early Game
This early game nonsense is just payment to the god’s of war to reward you with decisive strike so you can begin sending enemies to them. The game starts, pick a lane. If you even look at zuma, stop playing the eraser and go take a shower. Leave the jungle alone, it’s too afraid of you to pose a threat. Your glory, starts small. First of all, you need to read your lane. Most commonly, you’ll be lulling your opposites into a sense of false security. All you need to focus on is getting your ultimate. Here, you’ll basically be living off your insidious throw. Don’t focus on aa (auto-attacking), just try to get the last hit on minions for the additional prime. Whenever you have an oppurtunity, hit the enemy hero with insidious throw. The hits will start to take a toll on the enemy’s health.

Not Early Game
There are two stages to a match if you’re an eraser. Early game and not-early game. Measure your match in Pre-Decisive Strike, and Post-Decisive Strike. Before you get your ult, you’re simply helping in a lane. Afterwards, you become the end of every single person on the enemy team. As soon as you get your ultimate, sneak out of your lane and go to an enemy where you can get a kill. At this point in the game, you’re just looking for an easy kill. Anything to get your enemies scared. Sometimes, that first blood will be in your own lane, although they’ll usually see it coming and avoid it. The beauty of going to another lane, is the element of surprise. Either way, earn it, start getting kills. Start with squishys. Classes like fighters and slayers. Let’s say a brawler on your team had to lane top, so a mage is pushing the lane hard. Well next thing that mage knows is that he’s got a silly little red mark above his head. He’s not afraid yet, so he backs off a little, but not to the tower. Well now he’s dead. Look for options like that. GET THE KILL!

How to Kill
Now it’s time to get serious. To correctly use an intellect-Eraser do these steps. Cloak, mark, stay within vision of the enemy, after 6 seconds (when the mark glows red) use decisive strike, then immediatly use insidious throw, and auto-attack if needed, or cloak and run depending on the situation. Keep in mind that your cloak takes a couple seconds to kick in, but the speed boost from it is instantaneous. Roughly keep track of how much damage you’re able to do on enemies. Just know that a fully charged mark/ult/throw/aa combo will kill most fighters/slayers of the same level at a little above half health. Remember all of your ability perks. If your energy is low, don’t run back to the spawn to get more, simply cloak and mark someone, and stay within vision of them to gain more. If your health is low, don’t go back, just cloak and regain it. From now on, your always there. For all your enemies know, you’re standing right behind them. Mid-game and especially late game, don’t be afraid of towers. It’s almost funny how a marked opponent runs to a tower thinking they’re safe, while you wait in the shadows and then strike. Because of the speed boost you get after killing an opponent with decisive strike, always predict that you can get away from the tower. You’ll get a lot of kills this way from people dedicated to their lanes.

Late Game Team Fights
Here is the easiest time to be an Eraser. Just mark the correct enemies your team needs to be focusing, however, keep in mind that your decisive strike does a lot of damage even without the mark, so don’t feel like you have to strike the person you mark. If you mark the cryo, but you notice the artiste is at like 500 health chilling in the back. Kill the artiste, then cloak and run. Also, at this point, the enemy should have such fear of the mark that if a player gets one, you can count on them leaving the team fight to get it off them. Often times, you can run past the team fight to the player fleeing, and just straight-up kill him, then cloak and run. One rule of thumb is to save tanks for last. Avoid standing next to nagas, as they can taunt you into coming out of invisibilty. Avoid players with true-sight. Another thing to watch are your cool-downs. Try to time your final blows to also be able to cloak and run right after. Always go for the kill!

Lastly
Don’t forget that you can help allies escape. First option, is to simply mark them, they’ll usually back off from the pursuit. Your other tools to help is insidious throw, which will slow they enemy, or straight up hitting them from invisibility to stun them. Either way, always remember there’s always an option.
Good Hunting.
