It links to the background of THE ROSEFINCH CURSE (Ning’s Wing 1). To get an “S Rank”, you have to complete this route within 30 minutes.

Awake Ending Route: 1st Part

All right, actually the 1st part of this route is quite the same as the Lost Ending Walkthrough. Some changes before you are forced to Song of Life:

[5F, Playroom]
In the Lost Ending Walkthrough you only need to pick up the “Key No.3”. Now, before you pick it up, turn back and there is a 4×4 puzzle right to the door. Take a photograph of it.

[1F, East Hallway]
Most of you must noticed that there is a chest. Now pick it up.

[2F, East Hallway]
There is a “Blue puzzle piece” here. Make sure you are facing the sofa on the right. Click the corner on the top of the sofa.
Click on the shining item at the back of sofa.

[1F, Swimming Pool]
Remember the “Hint to Playroom” note? Yes, that “RETAW”. Reverse it now, what is it? “WATER”, right?
Drag the piece of note to the pool, and the note changed.
We define the new note as “ZN Note”.

Now come to the Manager Room:
[5F, Manager Room]
On the right of the desk, there is a shiny item. Pick the “Cyan puzzle piece” up.

[6F, North Hallway]
OK. Here comes the “ZN Puzzle”, one of the most difficult puzzle in Awake Ending route. The puzzle is right to the door with a grey “2” upon it.
First, take out your photograph of the 4×4 puzzle in Playroom. Watch vertically.
PINK, CYAN, BLUE, FIRE.
This four words tells you the order of the four puzzle pieces.
Put the four puzzle pieces(pink, cyan, blue, orange) on the puzzle, like this!
Now solve the code below. Open your “ZN Note”.
There is a hint on the right top: you have to add a rectangle outside the pattern. We do the same thing to “N” and “Z”.
Wait, wait. I’ve seen these two patterns before. Where are they?
The pieces form a square, as you see.
We can easily make the deduction that the shorter leg of a piece (The piece is a right triangle) is the half of the longer leg of a piece.
Take the 1st piece as an example:
The longer leg is 2 and the shorter leg should be 1. The answer, which is given, is 3.
Obviously, 2 + 1 = 3.
It gives us a hint that the answer to this piece should be the sum of the lengths of two legs.
Now we put the same formula on the 2nd piece.
The longer leg is 6 and the shorter one should be 3. 6 + 3 = 9.

Something changed when you are calculating the two pieces of “Z”.
The 3rd piece’s shorter leg is 4, so the longer one is 8. 4 + 8 = 12.
The same to the 4th one. Shorter leg is 7 and the longer one is 14. 7 + 14 = 21.
So here’s the answer:
Briefly, to solve the “ZN Puzzle”, you have to place the 4 pieces in a right order, and input the correct code according to the formula I’ve just mentioned.
Click on the long button to unlock the door.

[6F, Study Room]
Use your access card to open the green door.

The 1st part is end.

TO BE CONTINUED.

Awake Ending Route: 2nd Part

[6F, Gym]
Solve a little puzzle~
Have you ever heard of “Magic Square”?

According to Wikipedia, a magic square is an arrangement of distinct numbers (i.e., each number is used once), usually integers, in a square grid, where the numbers in each row, and in each column, and the numbers in the main and secondary diagonals, all add up to the same number.

The same to this puzzle, it is a 3×3 magic square. Click on the green numbers to form a magic square and solve your puzzle. Remember, the sum of each row, column and diagonals should be 15 for a 3×3 magic square.

[6F, West Hallway]
You can find an elevator served only for even decks now.

[2F, West Hallway]
This is a huge board!
What does it mean?
We divide each pair of characters to a number and an alphabet.
I’m sure you must know U means Up, D means Down, L means Left, R means Right.
(Acutally you may get the hint from [5F, West Hallway], there is one board that gives you the hint to this puzzle.)
The number, on the other hand, tells you the step of your move.
Probably it is difficult to understand. Well, never mind, look at the example below:

We start from “2R”(Red); move right for 2 steps, reaching “4D”; move down for 4 steps, reaching “2U”; move up for 2 steps, reaching “2D”, which become a loop.
So the trace we move is a “7”, as the picture on the left shows.

Here’s another example for “2”:

Briefly, we start from the red one, move as what it said until it become a loop. The trace you move should form a number.
A groove should be opened after you’ve solved this puzzle. Remember the hints! (You may take a photograph of it)

[4F, West Hallway]
Remember the moon-shaped block we get at the very beginning?
Put the moon on that puzzle. There’s a 6-digit input box.
Remember the hints in 2F?
0↓↓↓↓0
What does ↓ means? We look down the groove, and see 4 numbers. We just solved it.
That’s right! We put a “0” before the 4 numbers and another “0” after them to create a 6-digit number.
e.g. My answer to the previous puzzle is 7742. The code to this puzzle should be “077420”.
Get a “Key No.5” from the groove.

[4F, Room 405]
Click on the shiny item on the bed. You found a “bronze key” .
Use the key to unlock the window. Go through the window and downstairs.

[3F, East Hallway]
Unlock the door with a blue “3” on it and go in. Go through the window in the bathroom.

[3F, Room 302]
After a plot, turn back to [3F, East hallway] and use your “bronze key” to unlock the window.

[3F, Room 305]
Go through the bathroom’s window.

[3F, Engine Room]
Click the computer screen with 8 blocks (1 white and 7 black).
Here’s another “one of the most difficult puzzles”, “Handprint puzzle”. All of you must notice that there are red/grey handprints on the wall of each room in 3F except the engine room.
The positions, more specifically, the distance from the floor, of each handprint are different from each other.
There are relationships between the blocks on the screen and the rooms in 3F. For example, the block on the right represents [3F, Room 304] and the block on the bottom represents [3F, Room 305]. You may use the map to help you understanding this relationship.
You have to click on the blocks at the same position to the rooms in order according to the handprints’ distances from the floor. There are two kinds of sequences: from the top to the bottom or from the bottom to the top. This is decided to the handprint in the first room given is the one on top or the one at the bottom.

Hints:
You can use the small picture on the left of the map to help you sorting rooms. Click on a visited room to see the small picture. If it is too small, you may just take photographs of each handprint’s positions to sort. Something I must remind you is that you cannot go to Room 301, 303 and the west hallway now.
The flag marks upon the map can help you marking. Click on a flag and then anywhere on the map can put a flag mark on that place. Click on the flag mark again to clear this mark.

If the password is correct, the screen changes. Click on the words “Turn the cube”.

And that’s the end of 2nd part. There’re no more extremely difficult puzzles from now, so come on!

Awake Ending Route: 3rd Part

Please open your map after a plot.
You may find something strange: the map of 3F and 4F turned upside down!
Actually that is the secret of THE CUBE HOTEL: the 3F and 4F rotates 180 degrees and opened some new routes.
Now please go to [3F, East Hallway]. Before the rotation, the way downstairs was stucked, but now it’s opened.

[2F, Shower Room]
Investigate the shower room on the right to get a “gold key”.
Use your gold key to unlock the chest that you got in [1F, East Hallway].
There is a “Diary” inside.
Open the diary and carefully read it. We can infer from the diary that there is a gold coin in the bed of [3F, Room 302].

[1F, Changing Room]
After a plot, do not turn back!. Remember the patterns on the right wall.

[4F, Room 405]
Go to the bathroom and there is a switch puzzle.
Activate and deactivate some of the switches in order to make the same pattern as the pattern in [1F, Changing Room]. The electricity of changing room is now cut down.

[1F, Changing Room]
Investigate the room on the right to get a “Key No.7”.
Investigate the room on the left and take a photograph of the newspaper.

[3F, Room 302]
Click the pillow of the bed on the left and get a “gold coin”.

[5F, North Hallway]
Open the door with a purple “7” on it by “Key No.7”.
Solve the “Compass puzzle” right to that door. According to the hint from the newspaper you’ve just photographed, click on the “NEWS”(N=North;E=East;W=West;S=South) on the compass.

[5F, Office]
Now for the card games.
The card game is quite different from casino rules like Blackjack, Texas Hold’em, Baccarat, etc. In this card game, the player who put down all of his cards first wins.
You can put down a single card or a pair to start a round. Another player should put down a same pattern, but the points of that pattern should bigger than the previous one. One round ends until a player choose to pass. If a player does not have a bigger pattern to put down, he must choose to pass.
You may try challenging the computer 🙂

Well, well, you cannot defeat the computer, obviously.
Since the game mode is “Difficult”.
Click on the gear sign on the left and change the game mode to “Easy”.
First you put down a “3”. The computer will put down an “8”.
Then put down a “9”. The computer will put down a “Q”.
Put down a “K”. The computer will pass.’
Now put down all of the pairs and at last put down the single “9”.
You win the game and get a password “1860”.

Then reset the cube.

[2F, West Hallway]
Press “1860” on the input box to unlock the door.

[2F, Dining Room]
Get the chest on the table. Use the gold coin to unlock it and get a “Key No.9” from it.

Spin the cube again.

[5F, North Hallway]
Open the door with an indigo “9” on it.

Congratulations, that’s the end to Awake Ending!
Please, carefully read the plots in this ending, or you will not be able to start the 3rd Main ending!
