NEW to the game? HAVING difficulties to survive? TIRED OF dying few seconds after respawn? FED UP of all those long boring guides you are too lazy to read anyway?Then this is the guide for you. Easy, Simple and Fast! You will play like professional in no time !!
Here We Go
Okay folks. You are probably here because you are new to the game and you need some basics on how to play it. There are tons of other guides around here but they are long and complicated sometimes, so I decided to write one on my own and make it as simple as possible. Well, lets do it then:
Before we even start: DO NOT PLAY on servers with NIGHTMARE difficulty (this one is only for a skilled players). Always choose either CLASSIC or CASUAL difficulty (in case of casual difficulty you can skip steps 2 and 3 from the list down below)
- Spawn
- Find a melee weapon: Pickaxe, Sledgehammer, Machete or Fireaxe (these are the best and they should do the trick)
- Equip it (hold “1”, move cursor at the item)
- Hold left mouse button, aim at the zombie´s head, release it
- Press V (to shove the zombie away from you)
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 !+ check your BACK from time to time

That is it. I am kidding you not, it is THAT SIMPLE. Enjoy the game
P.S. : Yes, there are guns in the game, but it might be confusing for you to find the right type of ammo for your weapon. I have seen many guys just mindlessly dying because they found an empty weapon and they´ve got killed by the time they found some rounds for it…and ammo is quite a rare thing in NMRIH. Melee is the way to win
Quick Tips
(not necessary to read but it might help you)
- Weird veins around your screen?– You are infected (find a temporary cure (pills) or permanent cure (gene therapy)
NOTE!!: Once you are infected you become VULNERABLE to other players´ attacks so they can KILL you (EVEN IF YOU HAVE ALREADY TAKEN THE PILLS & TEAM DAMAGE IS OFF ON THE SERVER). The only way to become invulnerable again is to find perma cure or die and respawn again. - Screen is black&white? – Your HP IS LOW-find a medkit (to use your medkit-> press&hold “1”-> select medkit from your inventory->press left mouse button)
- Unable to run, hearing “arghhh” noise and your screen is flashing red?– You are bleeding -find a bandage or medkit (use it as described above)
NOTE!!: You can use BANDAGE only when you are BLEEDING, if your HP is low and you are NOT bleeding, USE MEDIKIT - Heart is pumping like crazy?– Your stamina is low, crouch (CTRL) for a few seconds to regain it a lil bit faster
- Feeling that you are running slow and loosing stamina really fast?– keep your inventory as clean as possible, throw all the things you do not currently need (empty guns, unnecessary ammo etc.- Hold Number 1 + Right click to throw item away/ Hold number 2 + left click to throw ammo away) The more empty your inventory is the faster you move !
Wow Is That ALL ?
Yes, it is. That is basicly everything you need to know. Other things are not necessary for you at this stage, and you will learn them anyway as you progress in the game, but for now and for you to stay alive this is the MOST ESSENTIAL THING
