Overview
This is a guide for plants, berries, and mushrooms in The Forest.
Plants
Marigold
Marigold is an orange set of flowers found throughout the map. They can be used to craft Orange paint, Meds (plant) and Meds+.
Chicory
Chicory is a white-blue tall set of flowers found throughout the map. They can be used to craft Energy Mix, and Energy Mix+.
ConeFlower
Coneflor is a white dandelion looking tall set of flowers found throughout the map. They are used to craft Energy Mix, and Energy Mix+.
Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is a small green cactus looking plant found throughout the map. They are usd to craft Meds (plant), Meds+, and Energy Mix+.
Berries
-Please note that it may be difficult to see the berries in the bushes in the screenshots so you’ll have to click on the pictures to see them clearly.
Blueberry bush
These bushes contain 3 eating options on them, and have blue berries (duh) on them. The berries are not poisonous, can be collected, and can be eaten, or used to craft blue paint.
Blackberry bush
These bushes contain 3 eating options on them, and have black berries (duh) on them. The berries are not poisonous but cannot be collected, only eaten.
Snowberry bush
These bushes contain 3 eating options on them, and have white berries on them. The berries are poisonous and can be collected. However, they are completely useless for crafting.
Twinberry bush
These bushes contain 3 eating options on them, and have sets of 2 black berries on them. The berries are poisonous and can be collected. They can be used to craft poisonous arrows.
Mushrooms
Jack Mushroom
These are orange mushrooms with a smooth surface. They are poisonous, and can be collected. They can also be used to craft poisonous arrows.
Amanita Mushroom
These are red mushrooms with white dots. They are poisonous, and can be collected. They can also be used to craft poisonous arrows.
Chanterelle Mushroom
These are orange-yellow mushrooms with a rough surface. They are not poisonous, and can be collected.
Puff Mushroom
These are brown mushrooms. They are not poisonous, and can be collected. These are more common in the west.
Deer Mushroom
Look like Puff Mushrooms. They are not poisonous, and can be collected. These are more common in the east.
