Mindset?
Okay! So this is a economically and financial trade style game, simply to put it, you trade and eventually become somewhat rich!.
However that’s not what you should be necessarily thinking from the get go.
You see, this game will take time and patience to get the hang of.
I’ve been playing since release on iPhone & Android . Tip : You can also purchase this game for free on iPhone & android, these are devices opposed to the PC & Laptop which aren’t exactly handheld on the go equipment.
And even if i’m not the richest in the game, or have the most amount of Word Locks.
I know mechanics that can be influenced by yourselves to make starting this game a breeze!
From this day dated 11/12/19. I’ve taken it upon myself to update a guide from over 2 years ago with all information I can muster.
The mindset of this game remains the same, I can safely say. However due to a starting quest line, the game is now able to push you along just that little bit easier.
Earning Gems!
Now,
we all know the easy route to “earning” in game currency via the steam community.
If you don’t, its Buying In Game Currency, which to be completely honest, with the prices being cheaper than similar games on android and IOS (Growtopia) and for $21 you can basically snag yourself the title of a pro within 10 seconds.
News flash. Being pro means nothing in my eyes anymore if that’s your aim, this will of course still help ! But being blinded by cash grabbing games like Growtopia, I entice that enjoying the game itself means far more. But who’s to say making World locks and Gems doesn’t add to the fun! Pixel World doesn’t compare to these other titles in the way the staff communicates with the community. I’ve been playing this game for over 1000 Days now and i’m sure if you get into it. You’ll be as hooked as I am.

Step 1
: Complete the tutorial,,
It will introduce you to the core mechanics which will obviously help you along the way. Completing the newly added tutorial will grant you gems, Red Scrolls and other useful items including Bytes.
Taking only a few minutes it compiles the games fundamental controls and mechanics and teaches you them. Ah, yes and you cant skip it 🙂

Step 2
: Do your daily bonus,
I cant stress this enough! So after completing the tutorial you will be met with a blue and green screen. Now up top will be a glowing yellow circle. Clicking this will send you to a world where you can spin for rare items or even GEMS!. You can do this daily. Hence the name “Daily-Bonus” This can give you an assortment of items all of which somewhat valuable, especially the main one! Gaining this early on is an easy World lock or Two..Also! Completing basic achievements like, Break 10,000 Blocks! Will grant you a day or two’s VIP. With this you can spin the VIP wheel, gaining the opportunity to receive a rare prize, as well as better additional prizes. ) You could also spend £1.50 etc, and buy it but lets be honest whats more gratifying.
Tip? Ish:Now. I’ve tried making multiple accounts and doing this more than once, over and over “It doesn’t work so don’t try, its a waste of time you are set in each early account to receive 50 Gems”.

Step 3
: Enter your world and start completing your achievements and daily quests,
So, find your daily quests by clicking on the scroll in the top left of your screen, you will be met with achievements and a daily quest bar! Daily quests will walk you through even more vital core mechanics really useful for later in this guide, and they’ll even reward you gems and account XP for completing these various abundances of tasks. Achievements are great, they also give gems and XP and even limited VIP, which allows you to get 500 NOW 2000! free gems a day, along with a VIP daily bonus spin, with even rarer item. Do these. Whenever you can.

Step 4
: Finally, farming,
Farming is breaking blocks for gems and seeds, gathering both & planting those seeds, rinse and repeat. Blocks like :
– White tiles
– Candy cane blocks
– Any colour block
– Even wood blocks
UPDATE!
Blimey, its been a hell of a while since I made this, all items shown above are still ‘Relevant’ however will not catch you the gems you’re looking for to rival other options.
Newly added blocks like:
– Spike Bombs / Hovering Mines (As of December 2019, are over stocked in the community and are 999/1)
– BBB ( Even if its an old one, these are also over stocked, at 999/1 in most cases.)
– Magic Stuff ( A cheap and reliable farmable used from the early days of the game, also 999/1)
– Gem Soil ( A new players best friend! Coded to have an 100% chance to always drop a gem. In theory due to their fast growth time these are the BEST farmable. At a price of 999/1 again, farm them until you can afford your wildest dreams.
– Wooden Platforms ( Need some quick World locks? Farm some platforms! Selling at around 200-300/ World lock. They’re a good starting money-maker.)I will go into more heavier detail with farming and farmables later in the guide revolving around getting a World Lock or 2 pretty early on.

Step 5
: Lets rinse. And repeat
So now your head to head with earning gems! You’d have probably figured this out by now but this is ‘the main currency’ so you will unfortunately have to repeat all of these steps ! To ensure steady income of gems to buy all these new fancy packs! However! Now during late 2017, the NETHERWORLD update has arose! Essentially a P-V-E style game-mode that grants gems and loot to over achievers. This is a great and new addition to replay-ability! You may be asking yourself… What does this have to do with helping me? Well. A ‘Red Scroll’ An newly added item within the shop is your only entrance to this game-mode! Costing 150 valuable gems for one entrance , accompanied by 10 scrolls for 1000 gems (100 gems profit if you do buy this one). These have one time uses so learn your aim! Your aim at least is to find 12 NETHER CRYSTALS. 12 of these and you instantly break even.Any more than this or you escape? Profit. Lots of profit.With the inclusion of a multitude of updates over the past few years, the game has boosted to profit gained from Netherworld. The old premise still remains however, you now have a small chance to receive Nether Souls ( A material used for recycling and potion making ) , Chests, which when opened with gems or a key, has an 100% chance to drop a specific tier of item from any available booster pack in the store.

Step 6
: Time to fish!
A new update rather recently added fishing to the game.
To start, purchase a wooden fishing pole from the store under Fishing this will cost 500 Gems, so make sure you have at least 150 left. Along with the pole, you’ll need to purchase bait, also in the fishing tab.Different bait, attracts different fish, all of which a different price in gems. To sell these gems, go to your nearest fishing world like FISHFULL or FISHALL. Or the newly renovated PIXELSTATION.
To use the pole, stand near a large body of water with the rod equipped and click the water block with the bait symbol, this will use one of your bait’s. Now you wait for a catch.
You may notice other players having better and bigger rods than your own. this is because you can purchase different ones. As well as upgrading them with the trash items you pick up, for example a Bicycle wheel.This progression will be achievable with fishing and farming, as they require gems to upgrade.
World Locks… The Prime Currency
Worldlocks, now at the moment the game consists of pro and noob players, the pro’s have all the wls and the noob’s dont really have any. Unfortunately I fall in that grey area in between. So how do I & you get out of this loop of endless non-worldlockness…? That’s now a word.
Quick update, this is still the case.

Possible way 1 :
Gems, ever so easily gems! You may think that anyways, however 3500 gems takes quite a while to encumber, i mean, you could save up 3500 gems but all your going to do is buy farmables or a nice hat with it. One is simply not enough.
However, saving wls. And rinsing and repeating the same process that got you to 3500 gems is a sustainable way, whether that’s doing your daily bonus’s, your daily quests, or even just farming some random blocks you have for an hour or 2. Whatever it is make sure you can perfect it by spending leftover wls on either for more materials, wooden platforms to create a easy to place and break farm. As doing the bonus’s isn’t a consistent method.

Possible way 2 :
Selling and trading items & blocks you have from buying booster packs from the store for wls.
I can recommend buying any new booster available such as Seasonable Packs,The Gangsta Pack, The Candyworld Pack & The Sci-fi Pack, because they all hold farmables such as BBB block, Candycane block & Sci-fi panels 1-4. All of which also holding LEGENDARY items. Worth plenty of World locks.
And they also hold rare clothing items and even items classed as weaponry, as they sell for a few / wl in worlds like :
– BUY
– TRADE
– BUYSWORD

– To the Dev? Devs. You confuse me, This game is great, having came from the shambling community of Growtopia, Ive found this incredible game somewhat similar to my past addictive game. With having played your game since it released on android, im proud to say ive been there since the start, you continue to work on a master piece layer by layer making this game what it should behold to become in the future.
