Overview
The guards prevent escape attempts and patrol the prisons.
The Guards
-Every guard has the word “Officer” in their name, which may mean that they’re police officers.
-There are 3 types of guards, The Greater Guards (The first 3 guards), the Night Patrols (Who patrol the prison during free time and after lights out, and Tower Guards (The last line of security, shoots you if 90% heat on you or if you’re on the roof during the day, even if you have a guard outfit on).
-To knock them out, you need the stats like this: Speed at 60 and Strength at 80.
-Like tower guards, they attack you if you have 90% heat or higher.
-They carry a baton with them. If they’re knocked out, you can take their baton.
-In HMP-Irongate, they carry stun rods, so good luck knocking out guards with weapons besides Molten Chocolate.
-If you take their outfit, their hat will still be on.
-The first 5 guards carry a key in this order: Cell, Utility, Entrance, Staff and Work.
-The first guard in the Rename Characters Screen is the leader of the guards, and he does the shakedowns for you.
-They skyrocket your heat to 99% (and attack you) if you are seen planning an escape attempt. This happened only one time to me.
-Their Duct Tapes Are Forever Equivalent is Henchmen, and the henchmen have the before-name word “Henchman” instead of “Officer.” Their entire body is covered, but if you strip them, they will still lose their helmet.
-In Escape Team, the before-name word of every soldier is still “Officer” despite them being soldiers. Like guards, they still have their hat on when they’re stripped.
-In the Buddy the Elf series, the guards in Santa’s Sweatshop have elf-style oufits like the elves. In the Jingle Cells Prison, every other character is like the main prison characters, but Buddy remains the same.
-There are two unique guards:
-Checkpoint Charlie, the guard at the entry of the Jungle Compound. North of the compound is the barracks, and you need to sign the ID Papers and give them to him.
-Officer Birdseye, a guard at the dock of Alcatraz. If you give him $250 at night, he’ll return you to the mainland. Remember, head to the dock when you show up at Evening Rollcall.
