Overview
This is a guide to help teach / warm back up any type of truck driver in american truck simulator, if you played before an have stopped an came back to it, or if you just bought the sim an are looking to enjoy it, this guide should help you.
Getting started.
Ok so if your just starting out or are stepping back up into the cab this is how you step into it, or how i did an do it, first thing your going to want to do quite a few quick jobs with others company trucks, all you do is drive an back it in an you get paid, now depending on how hard you want to make it depends on how real you will use this simulator, there is a steam workshop with so many different mods it might make you feel faint or weak in the knees so please make sure your seated firmly in your chair, i drove with no money or rank mods to level 300, then i started to mod the game with the steam workshop, this is where it gets interesting… read more if your willing to step in these shoes an see how i do this.

ok so now if youve made it this far your interested in how i make my money an how i use it in american truck simulator, welp i trucked for a long time many miles under the truck now an had started using steam mod trucks an partpacks to build fast trucks for my npc drivers to make me more money faster, i had seen video an heard of this thing that had been made for ATS called TMP, i turned to truckers mp multiplayer, it is a framework modification for the game/sim, its not hard to install just google or youtube it i dont feel like getting into it here in this guide, in tmp it is fully online multiplayer with no npcs only real people driving the roads trying to make money with there friends or even trucking companys in the servers, i had drove with my friends who had showed me an we all made alot of money together it is really nice how they made it an gave us the option to use it to have fun with, ok so enough about all that mess, you get steam mods to suit your taste an what you want to drive around an make your bank account grow, or… you learn how to edit the game like i do, ill leave a basic video linked–> beware i am not liable for anything that happens after you mod your game, here is how to get started, might not want mom to see this
Now comes the hated part after you got the money an know how to use it.
Now if you decide to learn to save edit your game, make sure your careful about it on tmp an dont go nuts with it, a clean built truck will blend in more an draw less looks, but the real modders will see your touches an smile,
an remember there is strength in numbers so make sure you have your friends with you, also remember when you have a nice truck people are going to want to pass it, so keep your right foot to the floorboard an dont go into a corner any faster then you think your going to make it around it. now go out an enjoy what you like an be about what you want to, im sure this wasnt really helpful but owell youll pick up on things once you get into it.
