Overview
A basic guide for the basics of the workshop. This will include how to use it and the categories special to Cities: Skylines. Links to items I recommend will be below.
Where The Workshop Is
The link to the workshop will be below. But anyways when you are on the cities page in the library there is a workshop button and click on it.
On The Workshop
Once on the workshop you will see categories and ignore those for now. Scroll down and you should see all items button and click on it and you should see a page of 30 items. At the bottom you should see page numbers and arrows, click on the arrows. If you over over a item you would see a + sign which subscribes to it and downloads it. Another way to subscribe to a item is to click on the item and see the subscribe button and if there is required items it will say you will need it.
If you click on the required items it will bring you to another item.
Categories
On the left side you should see many categories. You can ignore some of these but the main ones you should worry about is:Mod, Map, Building, Prop, Electricity, Vehicle, Water & Sewage, Garbage, Healthcare, Deathcare, Fire Department, Police Department, and Education.Those are the primary categories. If you click on any of those categories it would bring up a bunch of things in that category.
In those categories it shows a bunch of things dedicated to that category. If you do click on the fire department it will also show natural disaster buildings and the mods category will also show radio stations.
