Welcome to my Guide. Here I will explain Step by Step on how to get the three nessecary Items to achive the Happy ending. With Pictures!!! Have Fun 😀

Also, when I say “be friendly to x and y faction” I mean this kind of Event:

NEVER, under ANY circumstances, choose the “Declare war on [faction]” option. Otherwise you won’t get the nessecary things to get the happy end. You can refuse, you can stall, or even say that you need peace.

Monkey Blood

Now this is where things get a little bit tricky

Requirements
  • Town is not Abbotsfort or Vancouver
  • Unscavenged and unreclaimed Motel
  • Unscavenged and unreclaimed Mall
  • Reclaimed 8/12 Mart & Luck OR Cricket Bat
  • Expendable Survivor
  • “Signpost” reseached
  • Space for one Survivor
The Pre-events

You should complete the pre-events in this order (sorted from the hardest to do on demand to the easiest). First, do the “Schmooze got Book“, then (if you’re ready to do “Cricket Trade” and “Mall Pet Store“) do the “Mob Newspaper” then the other two.

  • Schmooze got Book
    • Have 5+ Schools in your Fort
    • Meet with other non-allied factions until they want to give you books
    • Choose the Fiction Book
  • Mob Newspaper
    • you need a Zombie Mob that’s at least 2 tiles from your Fort away
    • You’ll have to guess what path the Zombie Mob is going to walk
    • Send a Group of Survivors between your fort and the mob (on the path where the zombie mob is walking. Save and just let them walk so you see their path, then load and place your group), one of them must be an Engineer
    • Just sending Soldiers with engineer Skills or yourself won’t work. The Engineer must have Engineering as the active Skill
  • Cricket Trade
    • Trade with Gustav
    • The Trade must include your Cricket Bat
  • Mall Pet Store
    • Scavenge the Mall with a 10+ Scavenger
    • The Scavenger will finish too early; choose to visit the Pet Store.

The Events
  • Event 1: Origin Join
    • Requirements: 2 of 4 Pre-events triggered, Signs researched, space for 1 Survivor, 4 days
    • Gretchen Van Nooten will join you
  • Event 2: Origin Infect
    • Requirements: 4 Pre-events triggered, Injured Survivor, 14 days
    • Gretchen Van Nooten checks the injured Survivor and infects him unintentionally
    • The Injured Survivor should die
  • Event 3: Origin Leave
    • Requirements: Gretchen Van Nooten alive and healthy
    • Gretchen Van Nooten will attack a random Survivor
    • She will leave your Fort (you can pass a Leader Skill check of 7 to make her stay a little longer, but she will still leave)

After that you can scavenge the Motel, then the Hospital, then the School and you’ll recieve the Monkey Blood.
