The Inexplicable Lack of a Good Guide

Overview

There’s an alarming lack of information on this topic. Come on people.

So I bought this game. What is it?

Welcome to a Land of Crystals and Stories. You are about to enter a world of Slimes and Birds, of Bats, Undead and Magic. You will fight Samurai and Sandworms alongside skeletal minons of an evil power. You will take out royal monsters and flip giant enemy crabs to attack their weak point for massive damage.

Basically, it’s just another RPG. The version you grabbed differs slightly from the free versions: Mercenary Defense (a mid-late game location) has been tinkered with, an extra act has been added, an arena has been added.

Act 1: The Day the Sky Shattered (Part 1)

You are a Dragon that has just fallen to [whatever-the-heck-the-planet-is-this-time] and are about to go on an adventure. Now if you’d just stop standing around before you become SLIME BAI—

STRIFE! BGM: Heart of the Dragon

You are a Dragon that wields the Evoblade, which provides 20 ATT, 20 MAG, and 20 SPD. A simple weapon with balanced stats. You should have 150 HP, 20 MP to use Fire Attack (a fire-element attack from the Slayer I tree,) 20 ATT, 20 MAG, and 20 SPD.

You are facing off against 1-3 Earth Slimes, which are earth-elemental Slimes boasting 54 HP, 12 ATT, 13 MAG, and 22 SPD and take 200% damage from fire-elemental attacks but fully resist earth-elemental attacks. Just hit them with an attack or two, they die so fast it really isn’t worth the MP to kill them.

Victory!
You gain 15 gold and 4 AP to use on the Skill Tree for each Earth Slime slain. You also have a ten percent chance to obtain a Cure Potion I, and an unknown chance to get the Earth Slime trading card from each slain slime.

You amble aimlessly through the Little Forest until you come to a clearing with a GIANT MONSTER. STRIFE!

You are fighting a Gargantuan (Green)
Now you can use Fire Attack. It’s weak to it. It takes 125% damage from Fire. It has 300 HP, ATT 18, a redundant 18 MAG that is completely useless in this fight unless you are a hacker (or perhaps just grinded forever on the Slimes in the area,) and SPD 21. This monster also packs Impale, a skill that can Stun you, causing you to lose some turns. Defeating it rewards you with a Plate I, 26 SP, and 150 Gold.

On Bosses

INFORMATION ON BOSSES:
All bosses have a GIANT HEALTH BAR below them. Every little heart above the bar shows how many life bars they have. All of Rita’s minions (Bop the Maka, Rock the… nine-foot-tall cow monster with a club,) all Monster Royalty, and some of the bonus bosses have two health bars. The final boss of Act 5 (War of the Shattered Sky) has THREE. The new final boss, as of the Act 6 expansion (Sword of the Fallen Dragon) has… well, I haven’t gotten that far. ((This guide is going to replace the wiki.))

Act 1: The Day the Sky Shattered (Part 2)

You breeze through Little Forest. It WAS a Little Forest after all, but you aren’t outta the woods yet: You still have to get through Medium Fore— AAIIEEEEEEEE!

Player 2 (Lina) has joined the party!

Lina is a rouge. (It’s kinda like a thief, but they share with their friends.) She has a few SP to make up for D’s power difference. She starts out with

Act 2: Through Dusty Dunes

After beating the DEMON you finally reach Dustop.

Turns out that some bandits have taken over the local mine, and want gold. For some reason, they can’t read Latin, because Mari points out that there was a big sign saying SANS AURUM at the front!
