Overview
Updated for v0.98! A simple and straight forward-ish guide that goes over all normal and secret milestones and how to complete them.
Preface
If you’ve made any progress on a milestone or if you completed one, you must end a match naturally by winning or dying to save that progress. Any progress will be lost if you quit out of the game through the pause menu, getting disconnected or by ALT-F4ing.
Milestones can only be done while a match is active. Attempting to do any of them while waiting in the lobby before being transported into the giant eagle won’t do anything.
Also, most item unlocks require the Super Edition DLC to use. These items are marked with a ★.
If there’s a specific milestone or item unlock you’re looking for, press CTRL + F and type out its name.
Statistic Milestones • Part 1
Play a round from start to finish by winning or dying.
Quitting the game mid-match won’t count towards this milestone.
Win a solo, duos or squad game.
Level up many times.
EXP is rewarded at the end of a match (based on how long you survived and players killed), or by completing daily and weekly challenges.
Kill a ton of players in any mode.
Break many crates.
B-5, E-6 and E-4 on the map have plenty of crates you can break.
Walk a lot.
Travelling while inside a hamster ball, riding an emu or super rolling counts towards this milestone.
Do a lot of super rolls.
Time your rolls to get a small movement boost.
Open many mole crates.
A message will appear when a mole spawns, as well as a marker of where it is on the map for a short period of time.
You can place your own marker on or near the mole crate marker as an easy and permanent reminder of where it is.
Use many campfires.
You must be injured (below 100 HP / health bar is not blue) to activate a campfire. Used campfires cannot be lit again. Activating campfires during the pre-game lobby won’t count.
You can usually find campfires near tents, cabins and large buildings.
Drink lots of health juice.
Health juice can be found by exploring areas, killing players, breaking crates and cutting grass.
Statistic Milestones • Part 2
Look for desert edges, oasis or beaches with palm trees for coconuts.
Look for grassy areas with pine trees, green brambles or large rocks for green mushrooms.
Emus can eat by attacking coconuts and mushrooms. This counts for both food eating milestones.
Repair broken or damaged armor with super tape.
You can find tape from breaking crates, grass, etc.
Break a lot of armor from enemy players.
Strong guns (rifles and magnums) deal more than one point of armor damage (3 and 2) while everything else besides the dart gun deals one. Shooting players up close with a shotgun tears through any armor almost instantly.
Deal skunk bomb damage from players standing in its gas.
Cut a lot of grass with your melee weapon.
Cutting wheat also counts towards this milestone.
Faceplant by skydiving into the ground.
Press E after jumping off the eagle to enter free fall mode, but don’t deploy your umbrella again.
Failing to land won’t hurt you, but you will be stunned for a few seconds.
Heal friendly team players with Dogna’s Dart Gun in duos, squads, S.A.W. vs Rebellion or Mystery modes.
If a teammate is injured, shoot them with the dart gun to heal them.
Shoot a gallery target with any gun behind the stands.
Must be during a match, not in the lobby.
Same as the above, but with a bow.
Must be during a match, not in the lobby.
Get shot by an enemy player behind the stands in the shooting gallery.
Must be during a match, not in the lobby.
Weapon Milestones
Kill many players with the weapon you’re using to unlock the following skins:
To unlock the final milestone from start to finish for each weapon, you’ll need:
This might take a while to complete.
For actual advice on how and when to use them… I suggest looking up weapon guides.
Challenge Milestones
Win a few games in duos or squads.
If you’re a solo player (like me) you can turn on no-fill and attempt a solo duos or solo squad victory.
Win a match as a Super Chicken.
Requires level 20 and the Super Chicken researched.
Win a match as a Super Turkey.
Requires level 20, the Super Chicken and the Super Turkey researched.
Win a game without dealing any sort of damage.
Try to keep your distance as much as possible, look for Tier 3 armor and Cupgrade and stock up on bananas for the final circles. If you’re still having trouble getting this milestone, you can check out the many pacifist guides out there.
Win a game by dealing only melee damage.
Damage dealt with a hamster ball or emu doesn’t count, since they’re not considered as melee damage. Doing a pacifist match also unlocks this milestone.
Win a game without ever equipping any armor.
Use hamster balls or emus to tank the damage you’ll receive.
Kill many players with your melee weapon.
Damaging players with your gun and finishing them off with a melee attack counts towards this milestone. Hamster ball and emu kills do not count as melee kills.
Run over many players with a hamster ball.
Look for long, vertical roadways and roll back and forth from one end to the other and you’ll eventually run over an unsuspecting player.
You can generally find hamster balls on or near roadways, besides buildings / small houses and inside compounds.
Kill a few players with an Emu.
As the driver, left click to attack. Emus strapped with knives deal more damage than the others.
Kill a few players with a grenade explosion.
Grenades (and any other throwables) can be thrown over most big objects like junk piles, stacked hay bales and large rocks. Make sure you’re not standing right next to one, or your grenades will ricochet back towards you.
Have an enemy player slip on your banana peels.
Placing banana peels behind unopened mole crates, player loot piles or tight corners will almost guarantee a player slip.
Dance near some crabs during a match!
Has to be a dancing emote. You can find crabs near areas with shallow water or on the beach.
Hit players many times with a sparrow weapon in one match.
Landing sparrow hits on the same player counts towards this milestone.
If you’re having trouble with this one, try using an uncommon (green) bow & sparrow and shoot players at half charge. A lower charge means less damage dealt and more arrows to pelt them.
Secret Milestones
Hover over spoiler tags to reveal the solution for each hidden milestone.
Break some scarecrows.
You can find them in wheat and pumpkin fields around the farm area.
Dance in front of the no dancing sign during a match. Doesn’t unlock in the lobby.
Has to be a dancing emote.
Dance while it’s raining.
Has to be a dancing emote.
op: i used stretching routine in the pic here, which doesn’t count as a dance. whoops
Story Milestones
All milestones in this section are secret and all spoilered text gives you a step-by-step guide on how to unlock them. So only reveal them if you’re really stuck (or very stubborn)!
Location: G-2 & H-2
Inside the mountain, there’s a tight passageway behind some crates. Upon entering the room, there’s a banana shrine and a bowl in front of it. Throw a banana on it to activate a trap as well as unlocking this milestone.
Break these two crates and head upwards.
Throw banan here.
Location: Top right room in the barn in E-6
Right below the big chair, there’s a tip basket. Throw a banana inside it to unlock this milestone.
Throw banan here.
Location: Big open room with crates and hay bales inside the barn in E-6
At the backside of this room, on the top right there’s a switch hidden behind some crates. Stand on it to unlock the room behind it as well as this milestone. Will not work if the room’s already open.
Location: C-3, near an open space inside the mountain
Shoot the rat with Dogna’s Dart Gun to unlock this milestone. Killing them with any other weapon won’t count.
Location: C-3 & C-4
Talk to Dogna in the pre-game lobby below the fountain (keep talking to her until there’s no more dialogue left), then travel to the pyramid during the match and locate the three buttons inside. Press all three to open a secret lab in the top right side of the pyramid, then talk to Dogna inside to unlock this milestone.
First button near the bottom entrance of the pyramid. A secret hallway opens up to the left.
Second button inside the secret hallway at the top. Walk up and press it.
Center top side of the pyramid. Press E on the sarcophagus then walk to your right where the lab is, then talk to Dogna.
Location: C-4
There’s a button to the left of the sphynx; stand on it to open a passageway inside. Then, press E on the tomb and talk to the First Skullcat until the end of their dialogue to unlock this milestone.
