Since Alpha 10 we have riots in Prison Architect. Many people want Riots in their prison, but don’t now how to create one. In this guide you will learn to create a nice prison riot!
Step 1: The Phone
Prisoners want to have contact with their family. So the first step is: Remove all Phones! Not dismantle, but just dump.
Step 2: The Visitation
Some prisoners have also family, and family makes prisoners happy. That’s not what we want!. And support from their lawyers can prisoners forget!
So you have to delete a room. Just go to “Rooms”, and use right-mouse button to delete it.
Step 3: Edit the regime
No riot happening? Dont worry, just edit the regime a little bit like this:
And don’t forget to speed the time a little bit up!
Using the guns!
Since alpha 18, we have nice shiny shotguns to shoot prisoners. If it gets out of hand, your armored guards will shoot. But, if you want a riot, just press “Weapons Free”, to let the guards shoot anyone who is behaving agressive.
Spoiler alert! If you kill too many prisoners with a prison made after alpha 27, you will be locked up in your own prison….
Step 4: Playing with the Shakedown and Lockdown
Since alpha 12, we have a Shakedown button. Prisoners don’t want to be searched when they have nothing. So, just click on that button and click also on bang-up, and when it is finished; just click again, but still with bang-up activated. That will make your prisoners angry 🙂
Step 5: Relax
After some time, the prisoners start with rioting. Now just sit back and relax! If you want to speed it a little bit up, you can fire all the guards, except one or two.
