Overview
This guide is made to ensure that you gather the 300,000 fil needed to have the extra missions.It can either be followed religiously or used to see a particular mission should you be stomped.

This walkthough will avoid spoilers as much as possible and just focus on tasks to be done.
There are most likely events/items that will be missing from this guide. Should you want them added to this guide, simply contact me and I’ll be glad to do so.
If you want to resolve most missions by yourself, I suggest talking to townfolks as they often drop hints.

M00 – Introduction
Soldier x1
The game starts with a battle. What you need to know about the battle system is this:
Special = Magic > Dodge = Parry
Attack = Dodge = Parry
Special = Magic = Attack
Dodging/Parrying twice in one turn is a guaranteed counter.
This applies to you and the enemy.
You can store cards for later use in the Status menu.
The cards in the top row are your hand.
The cards in the bottom row are stored.
You want to store every “S” grade Special card for major bosses.
M01 – Grand Thief! … Wannabe
This is the first chapter and begins right after the intro.
There are a lot of items you can get all around town so let’s start with that.
These will be listed by zone.
Be careful not to go left of the Apartment Block’s door as it will progress the story.
Same with the open window on the second floor of the Apartment Block.

Now that that’s over, go to the opened window on the second floor.
Go near the warehouses.
Go get the Storage Key from Aruth (bottom-left, yellow hair)

Go talk to Seana (or try to leave the house – you monster)

Open the sewers near the little bridge next to the water.
Go to Astrier’s store.
NE BLOCK – ASTRIER’S MARKET
Talk to the man behind the counter (Jean).
After the scene, leave for another scene.
Head to the bar in the SE Block and talk to the girl near the door.
Beat his sorry ass or dont (not sure if it influences anything)
SE BLOCK – EDEN PUB
Go down to the basemant and into the chief’s room and talk to him.
NW BLOCK
NW BLOCK – SECRET ROOM (Near the merchant, go down then right/left)
SW BLOCK
Open the sewers in the NW Block (next to mansion)
Go to the Orphanage in the SW Block.
SW BLOCK – Orphanage
Go to the SE Block and give 4,000 fil to the man behind the fence (top-left of area)
From now on, there will be a box where the man used to be.
Whenever you see that the box is closed, open it for a possible reward.
Eventually there will be a second box with a Sword Skill Book.
Return Home.
S01 – Free Play
While not really a side story, this is to get used to Free play.
You can go pick up items outside the city.
There are further zones in the West Field but you’ll go there for the story later.

S02 – Cupid
Talk to Locke (man with hard hat) then do so again.
Choose to support him becoming an oil baron.
Talk to the priest lady on the bench in Suburbs.
Talk to the little girl NE of Suburbs.
Talk to the purple lady in the first room of Warrior’s Respite Hotel.
Talk to the lady in Apartment Block 2nd floor.
Talk to the lady near the lamp post in SE Block.
Talk to Milly in the Guild.
Talk to Granny on bench in NE Block.
Talk to Jessica in the Alchemist shop.
Talk to Jean near the NE entrance of the NE Block.
Talk to Seana.
Reward: 2,000 fil
M03 – Shadow Knight

Talk to the 2 in front of Happy Finance (SE Block)

While I consider this a boss due to the story, it’s pretty much a normal enemy.
Go to the left side of the building near the opened window.
Go back home to start mission.
Enter through the window from earlier.
Turn the alarm system off (top-left corner)
Go look at the journal on the ground in the front area.
HAPPY FINANCE
Open the safe using the president’s birthday.
Exit from the window.

Exactly the same has the one before.

Go back home.
S03 – The Angry Flame

Go back home to start the mission.
Suburbs:
Take boxes near Home & Office.
Take boxes near Warehouses.
NE Block:
Take boxes in top-right area
Take boxes near stalls
Talk to masked man near stalls and say “Definitively Suspicious”
Talk to Aruth near Home & Office and say “Not really suspicious”
Talk to the old man near a new bonfire in SE Block and say “Not really suspicious”
Return to Suburbs but avoid the man near Home & Office.

Go talk the arsonist near Home & Office.
Catch the arsonist (usually runs near the Hotel)

M04 – Pearls Before Swine

Head to the Imperial Art Gallery in the NE Block.
After the cutscene, go to the second floor for another scene.

Do NOT go down in the first floor.
There are caltrops there and you also want to go around the left side because…

The cats on the sides are immortal, but the ones near the paintings don’t respawn.
Head to the boss near the exit by going all the way around.

The first real boss.
There are no special tactics to bosses in this game. Simply try and conserve your good cards.
Discard bad ones on what should be defences.
Glery also introduces the “special animation” method of prediction.
If you see him perform a special animation at the beginning of a turn, it means that there will be at least one “4” Special card this turn.

M05 – Black Case / Red Rival

Go to the warehouse area and slay the slime there.
Go to the NW Block and follow the left or right side of the mansion with guards.
If you look at the building from the farthest spot, Seil should say “Hunh”
Go home and start the mission.
Enter the mansion from one of the “Hunh” spots.
LT. GEN. DIAS’ MANSION
Go up and meet with Glery.
Pick a side and proceed up.
LT. GEN. DIAS’ MANSION – ARMORY
Unlock the door on the top left (the 2 bottom doors are for later)

Pick up the paper in front of the bookshelves.
Pick up the letter on the desk.
Reward: 10,000 fil
S04 – Incorrigible

Go to the guild and speak to Milly to upgrade the Wire to Processed Wired.

Go to the guild and talk to the Barkeep for a 4-leaf clover.
Go to Astrier Market and talk to Jean for a 4-leaf clover.
Go to the Orphanage and talk to Claudia for a 4-leaf clover.
Go to the Military HQ and talk to Celia for a 4-leaf clover. (thx Yoruko)
Go back to Jessica.
Reward: 5,000 fil
M06 – Unseasonal Snow

There’s only one direction so follow the path.

Disable the panel in the center room.

Go to the idol in the right room but choose “Leave it”.
Go to the left door and open it.
WAREHOUSE – THIRD FLOOR
Disable the panel in the left room.
Take the idol in the center room and then examine the same spot again for a switch.
WAREHOUSE – THIRD FLOOR
Go back to the first floor and battle some soldiers.
Reward: 5,000 fil
M08 – Secret Strife

Go to the Auction House and put the Goddess Idol for sale.
Go home and start the mission.
There are 4 bats you’ll want to kill; one in each city block.
Go talk to Sarah in front of Astrier Market.
Go talk to Joseph in front of Geppetto’s Mansion.
Go talk to the Apprentice of the Blacksmith.
Go to the Eternity Inn and talk to the Employee at the entrance.
Go to Lt. General Dias’ Mansion and talk to Celia.
Leave the city through the West exit.
Head for the top right exit and you’ll see a Demon/Gargoyle.
Optional Boss x1
There’s nothing special about him and he shouldn’t be that hard.
He has a lot of HP but that’s about it. Just heal yourself and keep killing.
He’ll drop Accessory: Kunzite (which you are getting way early here)
Take the top-right exit and talk to the Miner near the cavern.
Go talk to Sarah in front of Astrier Market.
Finally, go talk to Jean in front of the mansion in SW Block.

Same as the optional boss above except that instead of high HP, he has a heal.

Go to Hell’s Garden Guild and speak to Garlyne.
Go to the Shady Office (near the client’s house).

You’ll encounter a lot of these guys and they are actually pretty tough.
I suggest killing them all because they give a lot of experience.
Do not enter the middle room with the middle door, go from the right door.

As you get to the third floor, do not talk to the boss yet.
Instead, follow the left wall to grab…

S08 – Antiquity in the Tundra

Exit the city from the West gate and go South into the mine.

After taking the Snow Shoes go back to the Blacksmith and receive “Ice Shoes”.
ROULDIA MINE – FIRST FLOOR
Take the stairs on the right.
ROULDIA MINE – BASEMENT
Follow the path until the ice changes and then take the stairs up.
Talk to the Apprentice.
Go back to the main entrance area and this time take the stairs at the top left.
Reward: 4,000 fil
S06 – Shoot For the Top!

Go to the Harbour and buy the Spiked Shoes for 500 fil.
Go talk to Manny (tree guy) in the Appartments for a “Gift: Divine Aid”
Go talk to Jessica in the Alchemist Shop for a “Gift: Sketchy Drug”
Go talk to Jean in Astrier’s Market for a “Gift: Mediocre Textbook”
Go talk to the Barkeep at Hell’s Garden Guild for a “Gift: Sake”
Go talk to the Professor at Warrior’s Respite Hotel (2nd floor inside a room) for a “Gift: Exquisite Textbook”
Go back to Home & Office and talk to Seana.
Go outside and beat up the thugs around Frank.
Reward: 5,000 fil
M09 – In the Palm of My Hand

Go back to the guild and talk to Elfred.
Take the left passage every time.

Go back to the top and then go right every time.

Go back once and take the left exit. There will be a guard.
Go in the left room, battle the guard and hit the right switch.

Go in the right room, battle the guard and hit the middle switch.

Go back to the top and take the only path not taken (left then right)
Do NOT step on the grids in the hallway while the light is flashing.
Follow the path and take the last Military Papers at the end.
You will be trapped with some soldiers that you can fight or ignore except for Leon.

A pretty strong boss overall.
Decent health, damage, defence and he carries a heal.
Reward: 10,000 fil
M10- Fight to the Death!

Either use your stock/supplies or go somewhere and grind until you have:
- 10 Band-aids
- 6 “4” or “S” Special cards
You are about to face 2 of the toughest bosses yet back to back.
Go to Astrier’s Market.
Head back to the orphanage until you are stopped.
Go back to the spot where you had a scene.
Duarto
This guy hits really hard and has a lot of health.
You do not want to receive his Special attack as it may very well be a one-hit kill.
If you see him do a special animation, that means he will use at least one “4” Special card this turn.
Celia
While she has less health, she does have a heal.
Her damage is descent, but yet again, you need to avoid her Special attack.
If you see her do a special animation, that means she will use at least one “4” Special card this turn.
