This is just a few tips for using the Touch Stone to stay alive during the winter in Don’t starve.
Preparing the Stone to get back Home
The Touch Stone in Don’t Starve is meant for ressurrecting yourself should you ever die, but if you die during the winter and are resurrected at the stone, you’ll most likely freeze to death before making it back to your camp, making the touch stone completely useless.
The Tip:
If you do find a Touch Stone, you should place a chest beside it with some basic materials for staying alive and keeping warm. The three main things you would need to survive your walk back to camp through the snow would be grass, logs, and twigs. An axe and/or a heat stone would also be a good idea to keep with the materials. Having these materials kept near to the Touch Stone will ensure you with the means to stay warm and get back home if you are ever resurrected during the winter.
