Places of power provide you with free skill points that you can spend on creating your character and also to upgrade a particular magical sign for a period of time.There are a total of 30 places of power scattered throughout White Orchard,Velen,Novigrad,Skellige,Kaer Morhen,Toussaint and one of the places for research Through space and time.You can unlock all places of power and receive skill points again in New Game Plus (NG +).
