Gameplay/Playerbase
Let me start off with the LAG. Lord the lag is a problem, and EVERYONE playing IW sometime or another gets it. It’s like a built in mechanic that seemingly won’t be removed.
Hit detection is on par with most IW CoD’s, it’s very slick and crisp, but when it lags, oh boy. Sometimes you’ll run around a corner, and mysteriously die, despite the wall being meters thick!
The new servers… Are non-existant i’m ALMOST certain. I’m pretty sure it’s just Player to Player connection, so you better hope to God that the host is close to you…
Gameplay is standard CoD, despite the future setting and thrust jumps. 1 or 2 guns being vastly overused, and sniper spam like crazy. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are rampant, and sweaty tryhards and pubstompers are always present.
Despite this, what did you expect of a CoD game?

I also have had a few kids tell me they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ my mom, trashtalk me, and call me a very specific n-word that i don’t feel subject to say on this guide. Yea… If you take offense to that kinda stuff, the mute button may be mandatory for you!
Weapons/Gunplay
The weapon balance is perfect in my opinion. There is no VMP, no M16, that simply shines above the rest. Despite this, everyone feels the need to absolutely SPAM the NV4.
The NV4 is a standard assault rifle unlocked from the start. It’s a 4 shot kill, high accuracy weapon that every sweaty tryhard and his mom; every wannabe noob spams as if that gun alone will make them good.
Additionally, the KBAR is another, rather overused weapon, along with the Reaver shotgun.
All guns feel well balanced, along with their variants. The only questionable variants have to be the Mauler – Mammoth, and the NV4 – Flatline.
The epic Mauler – Mammoth variant is a 2 shot kill, versus it’s base variant of 4 shot kills. Despite this, it is not overpowered. It has an extremely slow ADS speed, fire rate, and movement speed, Albeit these factors merely promote camping.
The EBR-800 – Bomber is another rather questionable weapon variant within IW. It’s a 1 shot kill sniper, yet it fires a salvo of 3 rounds quickly… It has a charge up time of .25 seconds (correct me if I am wrong) before it fires. Overpowered? No not really, but in the right hands this thing is a nightmare. It’s the PO6 from BO3 on steriods, and deserves a nerf. It does have increased recoil, but i feel that’s not justice enough to be honest.
The NV4 – Flatline is a 4 shot kill, like it’s base, but some idiot at Infinity Ward decided a weapon with INFINITE DAMAGE RANGE was a good idea. The NV4 – Flatline epic variant will ALWAYS be a 4 shot kill, no matter the range. It’s only downside is a slight reduction in Fire Rate, being only -50 to the Rounds per Minute, which really isn’t noticable.
More variants worth debating are the new 2 epic variants of the new weapons.
The RVN – Bombshell will create an Area of Effect damage splash when meleeing an enemy. Very overpowered, and SPAMMED constantly. Absolutly disgusting variant.
Another is the new UDM – Stalker epic variant. Simply put, it’s a pistol sniper with 1 shot headshots and a super fast firerate. I do not wish to talk of these 2 new epic weapon varaints as they were just added and will most likely be nerfed.
These are the only 5 debatable epic variants at the moment.
Stupid/Funny Stuff Within IW
Why is THIS in Infinite Warfare?
God this game has some stupid Sh*t and whatnot, so if you’re a very serious person, this game might be a chore for you.
Although me, i LOVE the retro, very strange and new vibe to zombies in particular. Very funny, very different!
There is also an Epic Variant that allows for more damage to the groin, called the RPR – Bosozoku
It’s worth noting this variant does no additional damage at all, and the groin hitbox is smaller than the head hitbox, so this weapon variant is actually even worse than the original base variant… yea…
There is Hope? Nah…
THE NEW WEAPONS, ARE HERE
There are 2 new weapons, 1 a pistol, 1 an assault rifle.
Both are trash. They’re inconsistant, very unreliable, and hard to use.
But they’re free right???
Being free doesn’t mean ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. These weapons are trash, but their supply drop variants are not free, and are only obtainable through the nasty-*ss supply drop system! Of course!
I do not believe these weapons are even worth talking about, as they get outclassed by almost every other gun, and their epic variant’s are simply overpowered.
Supply Drops… Yep… +savlage and thoughts…
I will try and keep this purely factual.
The supply drops in IW, are by FAR, THE WORST THING IN THE GAME.
Salvage on the other hand, is only a good thing. Yes it’s hard to earn, but if you seriously put your mind to it, and know the kinks on how to earn salavge, you can really earn whatever variant you want! Very nice addition, love that, and honestly… What’s wrong with being able to get what you want? FINALLY!
They also had a triple play, that allowed us to get 10 rare supply drops, 1 dupe protected epic MK2 variant, and 1 Quatermaster hack. Despite this, it’s an obvious money grab, being that the cost is 400 keys, and seriously, 400 keys is some serious work. The average player cannot simply get that many keys in time, so they’re forced to buy it with CoD points…
Despite this… Variants are mostly balanced and to be honest many are complete trash…
But the supply drops?
I have recieved 5 epic variants (TO DATE) out of supply drops, (This number is subject to change, just got the Mauler – Sentinal out of a drop :)) and i have been playing the game SINCE LAUNCH. ALMOST 4 MONTHS AGO.
I open only RARE SUPPLY DROPS.
The supply drop system is a joke. In Advanced Warfare i had over 20 elite weapon variants within a MONTH of playing, without spending money! (albiet i never did get the Bal27 – Obsidian Steed)
I once opened a supply drop, got an epic weapon variant (The Osiris) and the match started… I lost it. I checked back after the match, IT WASN’T THERE. I can’t be the only person to have this happen!
The epic drop rate is purpously diluted by Activision and Infinity Ward by adding well over 600 COMMON RARITY camos! I wish i could find the jack*** who thought that was a fair and good idea…

Jesus F*cking Christ they care so much for there money that they don’t realise they should be glad we play this f*cking trash at all Oh My F*cking God this game is too f*cking garbage to keep playing it’s sh*t g*d d*mn.
Final Verdict
Is iW trash, or is it Good?
PERSONALLY, i find IW an addicting game to grind out the mission teams, kill zombies, and get those keys.
I like Infinite Warfare, but the BS within this game is often too much.
To be honest, at this point, Infinite Warfare is the ULTIMATE TEST of patience. Are you willing to risk getting an anurism playing this game? You WILL be frustrated, you WILL be angry, and at times you WILL need to take breaks. This game can be fun, mind you i have almost 200 hours on it, but it is a test.
Somedays i ask myself why i play Infinite Warfare and don’t just leave to find some other, more fullfilling game that isn’t complete garbage.
Here’s my idea. Play with friends, try Infected maybe! I play custom games with friends and we simply put on infected, remove the throwing knife and boost jumps, and play terminal with bots! Just like old times… Or if that’s not your thing, simply play with friends in zombies or multi, and totally pubstomp.
You have to have a plan to enjoy this game… Don’t expect to jump right on this trash and have fun, because if you do you’ll be horribly dissapointed.
