Top 5 Ways to Improve your Game for Paladins

Top 5 Ways to Improve your Game

Overview

My top 5 tips in getting to Master

Tip One:

A simple, yet effective tip. Practise atleast three champions per type – this should mean you learn 12 in total. This will greatly help you as you progress, as sometimes counters are needed, forcing you onto positions that are not your main. But do not fear, because if you follow this tip you will be well equipped to play any role!

Tip Two:

Watch. Pro. Games. I can not emphasise it enough how important this is, don’t just watch their plays however, analyse them. Ask why did they do that, what is their loadout, what are they buying pre-game etc. This will help you become more tacticfully aware, an advantage that is sure to come in handy as you progress through the ranks.

Tip Three:

Keep yourself calm and collected. We all know what it is like to come up against a troll / hacker / toxic player – yes its annoying, yes its a waste of your time, however, do not allow yourself to become toxic as this attitude will only carry on to your next game – making you lose more games and get even madder. If you feel yourself at the point of tilt, either take a break or just play casual. Trust me, the elo you will lose is not worth it.

Tip Four:

Create good card loadouts. Card loadouts for champions is extremely important as its the difference between a win and a loss. If you are unsure what to chose, have a look at what the top of the leaderboards are using – or use sites such as paladinsguru.com that has deck previews/builds availible.

Tip Five (most important):

DO NOT SOLO QUEUE. I REPEAT, DO NOT SOLO QUEUE. Solo queue’ing whilst your friend is not on sounds like a good idea, but trust me – you will lose more elo than you will gain in the long run. If you have a friend you always play with, thats one less chance of someone in your teaming trolling or being toxic. If you really want to play but don’t have anyone to queue with, why not check out my discord where lots of people are constantly playing and talking about Paladins?: [link]
