Town Survival Solo Guide for Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Zombies

Town Survival Solo Guide

Overview

Just a small guide filled strategys, tips, training spots, etc.

The Basics

On any map, your going to need the basics to survive.

Your going to need the most points you can get by the end of round 1. Right when you hop in, wait till the zombies are inside the map. You might be thinking,”Oh yeah, we just knife the zombies on round 1 for 130 points each kill!” Wrong. Aim for their leg/foot, and shoot 8 bullets at them, then you knife.

This way, instead of getting 130 points per kill, you get 210 points per kill. That’s almost double. For the zombies on fire, you shoot them 6 times in the foot/leg and knife them. Since zombies on fire are weaker, you’ll kill them with 8 bullets. Zombies on fire will sometimes explode, so becareful of that.

Then, get Quick Revive. On solo mode, Quick Revive is acually an extra life. If you down, you will automaticly get revived.

Once you have have enough points, grab Juggernog. This will give you more health. It will turn a two hit KO, to a four hit KO. It also reduces lava damage.

Those are the main things your going to need to know, about any zombies match.

Town Survival Solo Strategy

This is a strategy for Town Survival Solo. This strategy will differ from a Co-Op Survival or Grief Match.

1) Be prepared. Make sure you have done all the things listed in “The Basics” before you move on. This will prepare you for all the things your going to need to do.

2) When round 1 is over, I would reccomend buying the M14 off the wall near Stamin-Up.

Since it is round 2, I would shoot the zombie once, and knife them. If the zomie is on fire, aim for headshots.

3) By the start of round 3, you should have Quick Revive, and have used the Mystery Box one time. If you get the DSR, RPD, HAMR, Raygun, Galil, Python, or Executioner, then those are keepers. “Loadouts” I reccommend are Galil and Raygun, DSR and Python/Executioner, Galil and Python/Executioner, and HAMR/RPD and Raygun. I personally love the Galil and Raygun together.

4) After you get Quick Revive and a good weapon, grab Juggernog. As you progress through rounds, get Speed-Cola. After that, get either Double-Tap, or Stamin-Up. I like Double-Tap, but Stamin-Up is also good.

5) You should be around round 10 by now. At this round and higher, start training. I wouldn’t Pack-a-Punch until round 12. Pack-a-Punching a gun during early rounds is just a waste of points, and quite the overkill.

6) By round 15+ You should have all four perks, your loadout Pack-a-Punched, and a tactical equipment. I reccommend Monkey Bombs. All you have to do now is do your best to survive. Good luck!

Tips & Tricks

Here are some tips and tricks you can do to help you out on the zombie playing field.

-During round two, the Ballistic Knife is a one-knife KO.
-Monkey Bombs take forever to throw, but attract zombies. If your cornered, these might help.

-Semtexes might not be a good decsion. They stick, and remember that zombies run toward you. You dont want a grenade to backfire.

-If you get a Teddy Bear in the Mystery Box, the Mystery Box is moving to a different location. The beam of light in the sky will help you find it’s next position.
-Training is when you walk in large circles and the zombies chase after you. This way, the zombies are unable to deal fatal damage, and you are piling them up, so you can slaughter them in big groups for the most points possible.
-EMP grenades freeze zombies in the EMP blast area. Be careful! Jumping, sprinting, bullet shots, equipment, and other zombies wake them up. EMP grenades also disable perk machines and the pack-a-punch. This can hurt yourself, or your team. People can be such trolls sometimes. 😛
