Introduction
General
Underlined text will denote text that needs to be typed
Italic text denotes a key press, if combined with underlined text you must hold the key until everything has been typed in.
Most of the cheats have been tested by me, i will update the guide according to more testresults.
This guide is still a work in progress!
Notes
The cheats in this guide will change you game experience. When i tested the cheats, i noticed that the “happiness” value became zero in the books, and thus effected goals, see the following screenshot:

Cheats
Editor Mode
Hold down ctrl and type editor
Now you can use one of the following hotkeys:
- I – Shows the grid coordinates of your mouse
Ctrl + Left Mouse Button – Paint shallower water
Shift + Left Mouse Button – Paint deeper water - U – Add Units (Spawn people, boats, planes etc.)
Left Shift + Left Mouse Button – Place female unit
Right Shift + Left Mouse Button – Place male unit - P – Paint Tool, paint the ground in different terrain choices. (Hold shift to create deeper sea)
- V – Vegetation Tool (plant and/or remove tree’s)
- F – Fill Terrain
- R – Raise/lower ground tool
Shift + Left Mouse Button – Creates plateau - Z – Bulldozer Tool
- M – Paint Minerals
- Shift + O – Add builings more then one time (for example, the Immigration office)

- Ctrl + tenyears – Advance ten years
- Ctrl + twentyyears – Advance twenty years
- Ctrl + thirtyyears – Advance thirty years
