Overview
This is a small guide on how to turn off depth of field in Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Guide to disable DoF
1. Locate engine.pak in steamappscommonKingdomComeDeliveranceEngine. Create backup for good measures
2. Ensure that windows shows file extensions. In folder window, go to view and tick off “File name extensions”
3. Rename engine.pak to engine.zip
4. Unpack engine.zip
5. Three folders will be unpacked; “Fonts”, “EngineAssets” and “Config”
6. Go to configcvargroups and open sys_spec_PostProcessing.cfg in notepad or similar program.
7. Locate the line r_DepthOfFIeld=2 and change it to r_DepthOfFIeld=0
8. Save and exit
9. Repack “Fonts”, “EngineAssets” and “Config” into engine.zip
10. Rename engine.zip to engine.pak
11. Play without DoF 😉
