Overview
It’s a guide for how to change the alpha/color of a model.
Before we start
Start SFM, create a session and load a model. The your screen should look like this:
Tutorial
1. The first thing we do is right click on the model and add an Overwrite Material:
2. Now we check the model in the element viewer:
3. Now we should see something like this:
4. Now we take one of the materials on the models which fits and add a attribute which is called $color2 but we gonna add a color this time:
5. Now we can color the head blue for example by changing the color:
6. We also can control the alpha by repeating step 4 with name $alpha and as float. You can enter 0.0 – 1.0. For example: 0.5
