Overview
UNC = Uncharted SpaceThis is a list of all possible locations to fulfill the various galaxy-wide collection assignments.
Introduction
You can begin most assignments after you complete the main storyline on the Citadel. You will need to complete your investigation on the Citadel and then become a Spectre to unlock full access to the Normandy and Galaxy Map.
While not required, some of these collection assignments can give you large amounts of experience to spend on talents and credits to spend on inventory items later.
On each collection assignment page is a table with the column Access. This is how you can obtain these assignment items.
- Survey: These planets or asteroids are too dangerous to land on. Your navigator will scan the planet or asteroid for any useful artifacts or tools for future use.
- Land: These planets can be explored on foot by the M35 Mako rover. These will require exploring the planet and can be found in various decryptable objects.
Once you complete each assignment, it will be marked as complete in your journal by a faded title and text that indicates that you have obtained enough items to complete each assignment.
UNC: Prothean Data Discs
Research on Prothean culture is focused on the discovery of ancient data discs.
These discs are extremely fragile; intact discs are rare and usually found inside Prothean data recording devices. Scientists have not yet found a way to transcribe the information from these discs, but it is generally agreed that they are the most promising source of information on Prothean science and culture.
The Alliance and the Citadel are continuously trying to find more information on the mysterious Protheans. Currently, the best way to obtain information is by recovering ancient data discs.
10 Prothean Data Discs are scattered across the galaxy. 7 are required to complete this assignment.

UNC: Asari Writings
Interstellar colonization sparked a golden age of learning and cultural advancement for the asari. During this time, the Matriarchs became obsessed with achieving ‘ultimate knowledge’. To that end, a small but dedicated group chose to leave Thessia hoping to find greater wisdom and true enlightenment.
Within a span of a few years, twenty-eight Matriarchs left Thessia with no destination in mind and no plan to return. Only six were ever heard from again. Of the other twenty-two, only Matriarch Dilinaga’s remains were discovered, along with several writings made during her journey. The writings instantly became the subject of intense study and discussion. Hundreds of anthropologists and historians analyzed the writings and theorized on their meaning and importance to the asari race. For several generations, these writings were kept at Thessia Guildhall, the center for asari learning and research. Less than a century ago, these were finally made available to the public. Since arriving at the Farinah Museum, the Dilinaga exhibit has become one of most popular historical attractions on Thessia.
Matriarch Dilinaga was a renowed Asari Matriarch dedicated to “ultimate knowledge” and “true enlightenment.” Many of her surviving journals have been intensively studied in hopes of understanding more about the Asari race.
16 Journal Entries are scattered across the galaxy. 10 are required to complete this assignment.
If:

- You assisted Gavin Hossle on Feros

UNC: Locate Signs of Battle
There are several League of One medallions and a few ID Tags scattered throughout these systems. The hunt must have been extensive and taken years.
The League of One was a Salarian intelligence agency formed around the time they discovered the Citadel. The League of One focused on espionage and assassination, with only top government positions allowed access to their information.
Eventually with the introductions to the Asari, they were discovered and publicly exposed to their enemies. The Salarian Special Tasks Group dispatched escorts, but no evidence was found. The League of One is rumored to have been wiped out, with medallions as their only evidence scattered across the galaxy in escape pods, probes, or hidden with secret bases.
12 League of One Medallions and 4 Salarian ID tags are scatted across the galaxy. 10 Medallions and 3 ID tags are required to complete this assignment.
