Overview
Thanks to this guide. Inexperienced players will be able to find out the strengths and weaknesses of different types of units, as well as, which of the units are the most powerful and reliable among their counterparts.
Foreword
In this guide, you can find some very interesting information about the playable units of the different factions. To be precise, this guide will include the rating of their strength, helpful advice from an experienced player, and a couple of stupid obscure points. For the best results in this comparison, my friend and I pushed our units head-on in four different scenarios: Firstly, improving the units in the barracks, then afterwards giving them full upgrades (barracks + blacksmith + gold armor). We made the different units charge each other, or make them fight in the defensive formation (defensive circle and spear wall), except for Saracens against Vikings, because both squads would not be able to fight, but would only stay in defensive circle and stare at each other. So, we had to use the usual defensive mode, which is a weaker defense.
Spears
In the video below, you can see tests of battles, with the exception of the Saracens against the Vikings in a defensive formation, since the Vikings had no chances, after losing in the test battle. The Slavs against the Saracens are not in this video either, since there is no point in testing them together, because the Slavs will always win without problems in both tests

P.S. The Slavs are in the same place with the Germans, because the battle lasted 12 minutes. Germans were able to use the “Pin down” ability very often, which reduced the enemy attack. In any regular game, no one would have been able to use the ability as often as the Germans did. Without this skill the Germans would lose, so it was decided as a compromise to give them both the first place. In the battle between Germans and Saxons. RNG played a big role on who would win.
Shields
As in the previous section, a video is attached showcasing the battles:

The Saxon shieldbearers can be an exception, because they have a special skill (+ 2 points to defence, when a church is built) and an advantage to protect against charge of an enemy unit
Cavalry
Skirmishes of cavalry units, are attached in the video below:

P.S. In general, the Saracens defeats the Slavs, with their abilities. However, in the battle with the Germans, they showed themselves kind of equal to each other (with full improvements). So, we will give our brothers an honorary silver medal

Shooters
It is also worth noting that the slingers proved to be better in the skirmish battle against the German archers, but they were better against Vikings archers. But the Saxons also have archers who, without any upgrades, they can take down everything and everyone with a few volleys of arrows. So it is better for a Saxon player to use archers instead of slingers.

Noob-lovely OP squads
With the tests of these annoying units annoying. The battles are too fast, so you have to use your imagination.
Rock-paper-scissors (in-game unit balance and how it cracks)
This Panzerkampfkavallerie unit are able to defeat not only all two-handed units of the game, but also some spear units, which breaks the balance of the classes in Ancestors Legacy
The medieval replasement of the Mark. I: Saxon shield-bearers are able to keep the cavalry in battle for quite a long time, and sometimes even defeat it (for example, they are sometimes able to defeat the Slavic cavalry). They are also good against some two-handed units.
The mushroom addicts are also tough units. They are able to defeat some spears in the cruellest way. But besides that, they also act as an excellent replacement for their own cavalry, posing an immediate danger to archers. They are also sometimes able to beat cavalry too.
