General
In order to unlock Specializations and Weapons+Attachments, you need to rank up and gain Career Points.
Your Career Points are used individually to unlock each Specialization, Weapon, and Attachment.
- On the go while playing in a match; you just need to go to the Game Menu (Press Esc) and then click the Squad section.
- Or you can create a squad by selecting the Maneuver game mode, and then select the “Create Squad” option at the top right next to the Back button.
Note:
- You can also create your squad to be for “Friends Only” so somebody doesn’t join and start looking for match while you’re busy unlocking loadouts.
- You have to unlock the Weapons and Attachments while in a match.
- You can only have one Attachment on your chosen weapon as well.
Weapons and Attachments: The Primary Weapons and their attachments used in Attrition and Rifle Deathmatch are shared, so you don’t use Career Points twice to unlock the Gewehr 98 and Stripper Clips in each game mode.
Note: Alternatively, you can create private matches for any of these game modes and unlock everything you want, or can with enough Career Points, at your own pace.
Maneuver
In this game mode, you play in a Squad of Four in a specific Role. Each Role has three sets of “Specializations” or loadouts to pick from and use throughout the match.
Note: The first Specialization is always unlocked by default, even after gaining a Prestige Rank.
- Find the Specialization section on the left hand side, and click on the button marked with a II symbol.
- Then, you just click on the Unlock Button below the Specialization’s listed weapons.
- Finally, you need to confirm the unlock of the Specialization.
Note: You cannot unlock the third III Specialization before you unlock the second.
Here’s what the Squad menu looks like, for reference as well:
Final Note: As mentioned in the General Section of this guide, you can unlock Specializations / Loadouts of other Roles that you are not playing as, without switching, by clicking on the ones below/above your own and then repeating the process above.
Attrition
In this Team Deathmatch game mode, you will be apart of a team where you try to reduce the other team’s Tickets. You can use any of the weapons available in the game, plus some exclusive weapons for Attrition.
In order to start playing, you need to select a Primary and Secondary Weapon, and optionally a single Attachment.
- First, you need to select the weapon from the list on the left hand side. There is a button to list either Primary and Secondary.
- Second, you need to click on the Unlock button that’s above the Play button.
- Finally then, you need to confirm the unlock.
Note: If you want to unlock a specific Attachment:
- You have to unlock the base weapon first.
- Then you have to unlock the attachments in order, consecutively. e.g. You will have to unlock the Stripper Clips before you can unlock the Bayonet for the M1891 Mosin-Nagant Rifle.
Afterwards, you can select which attachment you’d like to use for your weapon.
Final Note: As mentioned in the General Section of this guide, you do not need to unlock the same Primary Weapons and Attachments twice in either Attrition or Rifle Deathmatch.
Rifle Deathmatch
In this Free-For-All game mode, you will be playing against every other player in a contest of skill for First Place. All the while everybody is only using Rifles or Carbines.
In order to start playing, you need to select a Rifle or Carbine, and then a single Attachment if you want to use one.
- First, you need to select the weapon from the list on the left hand side.
- Second, you need to click on the Unlock button that’s above the Play button.
- Finally, then you need to confirm the unlock.
Final Note: As mentioned in the General Section of this guide, you do not need to unlock the same Rifles/Carbines and Attachments twice in either Attrition or Rifle Deathmatch.
