Overview
I know there are other progression guides out there, but they are all extremely out of date, so I decided to make my own. I tried to make it as neat as possible. Feedback is always appreciated. If you spot any mistakes, plese let me know, and I will fix them immeadiately.
Introduction
The progression tree is argueably one of the most confusing parts of the game. Ever changing, it can be hard to keep track of what progresses to what, unless you have it written down on a piece of paper like me. I have divided the current progression tree into three parts, depending on the starter. The two sub-trees are the Herbivore Tree and the Carnivore Tree. The Herbivore Sub Tree branches even further into Taco and Oro sub-trees.
I have further divided each sub-tree into lines. Each line has a number. At the end of each line, the words “go to #” will be in parenthesses. This will let you know which line to go to next. If the word “End” is in parenthesses, you have reached the end of that particular branch.
If two dinosaurs both come from the same dinosaur, you can sideprog between the two. For example, since Maiasaura and Gallimimus both come from Dryosaurus, you can sideprog between the galli and maia. However, since this would make the diagram even more complicated, I have decided to exclude these pathways from the guide.
The Herbivore Tree – Taco Subtree
The Herbivore subtree can be divided into two other trees. The larger of the two sub-trees is the taco subtree, which starts at psittaco and eventually leads to the Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, Therizinosaurus, and Stegosaurus.
1.) Psittacosaurus ———————-(30pp) —————> Avaceratops (Go to 2)
2.) Avaceratops ———————–(120pp) —————> Pachycephalasaurus (Go to 3)
Avaceratops ———————–(240pp) —————> Diabloceratops (Go to 4)
3.) Pachycephalasaurus ———-(300pp) ————–> Therizinosaurus (End)
Pachycephalasaurus ———-(300pp) ————–> Ankylosaurus (End)
4.) Diabloceratops —————–(300pp) ————–> Stegosaurus (End)
Diabloceratops —————–(300pp) ————–> Triceratops (End)
The Hebrivore Tree – Oro Subtree
The Oro subtree is the smaller of the two subtrees. It starts at Orodromeus and leads to the camara and puerta.
1.) Orodromeus —————————-(60pp)—————-> Dryosaurus (Go to 2)
2.) Dryosaurus —————————–(120pp)————-> Gallimimus (End)
Dryosaurus ———————————(240pp)————-> Maiasaura (Go to 3)
3.) Maiasaurua —————————–(300pp)————> Shantungasaurus (End)
The Carnivore Tree
This tree includes all of the carnivores, from the tiny velociraptor to apexes like the giga, spino and rex.
1.) Velociraptor —————————(60pp)———————————> Herra (Go to 2)
Velociraptor —————————(60pp)———————————> Austro (Go to 3)
2.) Herra —————————(180pp)——————————–> Dilophosaurus (Go to 4)
Herra ——————————-(300pp)——————————–> Ceratosaurus (Go to 6)
3.) Austro ———————————-(300pp)——————————–> Utahraptor (Go to 5)
4.) Dilophosaurus ——————–(300pp)—————————> Carnotaurus (End)
5.) Utahraptor ——————————(180pp)——————————–> Baryonx (Go to 7)
Utahraptor —————————–(360pp)——————————–> Allosaurus (Go to 8)
6.) Ceratosaurus ———————(300pp)——————————–> Carnotaurus (End)
7.) Baryonx —————————–(360pp) ——————————–> Suchomimus (Go to 9)
8.) Allosaurus ————————–(360pp) ——————————–> Acrocanthosaurus (End)
Allosaurus ——————————(480pp)———————————> Gigantosaurus (End)
Allosaurus ——————————(480pp)———————————> T. rex (End)
9.) Suchomimus ———————–(480pp) ——————————–> Spinosaurus (End)
