Warning: Check the SHA-256 hash of the downloaded executable for your own safety before running it, as there is no guarantee that these hyperlinks will stay as they are over time.
If you have no tool to check file hashes then go to virustotal.com and upload the executable. On the details page of virustotal it’ll show you the SHA-256 hash of the executable.
Prepare before apply
A change to the windows registry has to be made before being able to run the patch, due to a missing registry value in the Steam release of the game.
These changes are tested on Windows 10, but will most likely work on Windows 7 too.
Please check if you’re running a 32-bit or 64-bit edition of Windows.
How to check: Open dxdiag (Windows key + R -> write dxdiag -> click ok) and check the text behind ‘Operating System:’.
Open notepad (Windows key + R -> write notepad -> click ok) and copy the text inside the block below that matches your Windows edition.
64-bit Windows:
32-bit Windows:
Navigate to notepads menubar and click on File. Click in the menu on Save As and navigate to desktop in the opened dialog.
Replace the file name with subtitanspatchfix.reg, change Save as type to All Files (*.*) and click on Save. Navigate to your desktop and double click subtitanspatchfix.reg to apply the changes.
You will now be able to run the Submarine Titans patch ( st1_mj0to0_1_usa.exe ).
Other
I’ve released an unofficial patch for Submarine Titans which fixes common issues and provides widescreen and high dpi support.
