Overview
Since the Steam overlay screenshot is not working on Tomb Raider legend, it looks like you’re not supposed to upload your screenshots to Steam. But you can still do this with just a few more steps.
Take your shots first
- Pressing F12 will not take any shots in this game but PrintScreen is your best friend.
- Return to desktop and open the Paint, paste it.
- Yes of course you can take screenshots with other apps such as Fraps or anything you want.
- Rename the screenshots you took as the YY/MM/DD/HH/MM format,
it looks like
Make it ready for uploading
- Navigate to your Steam installation path as following
X:Steamuserdata12xxxxx - Create a new folder and rename it 7000, this is the Appid of TRL. Open it and make a new folder “screenshots”
- Put the screenshots you took before and put it here. You don’t need to necessarily bother it the thumbnails. It should be almost ready now to upload.
Upload it!
- Now just restart your Steam client to make your shots appear under the game library.
- If you’re not seeing the shots there don’t worry, just check out any other screenshots you take, and them select Tomb Raider Legend, it should be in the screenshots tool now.
Then just simply upload it as your wish.
