Useful Steals

This is a guide for getting useful items (usually weapons and armor) via the steal command. This guide is not a comprehensive guide of every steal-able item.

The guide is organized so that the listed order of enemies/areas is the order that a player would naturally encounter them in the game.

For the most part, I'll only be listing weapons or armor you can get before they would otherwise be available, or if they were only available in limited quantities prior (such as being found in a treasure chest).

Deenglows - You can steal an Ether (thanks Rorenado)

Eligor - Found only in the second "screen" in the graveyard, the area where you move the trains. You can steal a Striking Staff[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Moth Slasher - Found on floors 67 and 68 prior to fighting Hojo's experiment. You can steal a Carbon Bangle[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Soldier 3rd - Found on floors 67 and 68 prior to fighting Hojo's experiment. You can steal a Hardedge[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Custom Sweeper - Found around Midgar on the world map. You can steal Atomic Scissors[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Madouge - You can steal a Grand Glove[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Formula - Frequently found in forests. You can steal a Boomerang[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Marine - You can steal a Shinra Beta[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Death Claw - These are found just before Dyne. You can steal a Platinum Bangle[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Dragon - You can steal Gold Armlets[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Adamantaimai - Found on beaches around Wutai. You can steel Adaman Bangles[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Snow - Optional boss fight. You can steal a Circlet[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Blue Dragon - Fought in the area with the healing spring. You can steal a Dragon Armlet[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Schizo - You can steal a Protect Ring[finalfantasy.wikia.com] from the right head.

Gigas - You can steal a Gigas Armlet.[finalfantasy.wikia.com]

Eagle Gun - Found on the fourth car. You can steal a Warrior Bangle[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Ultimate WEAPON - Mandatory boss fight. You can steal a Curse Ring[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Underwater MP - You can steal Shinra Alpha[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Reno - You can steal a Touph Ring[finalfantasy.wikia.com]

Rude - You can steal a Ziedrich[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Unknown - You can steal a Fire Armlet[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Unknown 2 - You can steal a Aurora Armlet[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Unknown 3 - You can steal a Bolt Armlet[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Serpent - You can steal a Water Ring[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Rude - You can steal a Ziedrich[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Diamond WEAPON - A mandatory boss fight. You can steal a Rising Sun[finalfantasy.wikia.com], a weapon for Yuffie.

Reno - Optional boss fight. You can steal a Touph Ring[finalfantasy.wikia.com]

Rude - Optional boss fight. You can steal a Ziedrich[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Elena - Optional boss fight. You can steal a Minerva Band[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Ultimate WEAPON (Flying) - If you encounter Ultimate WEAPON while it is flying, you can steal a Reflect Ring[finalfantasy.wikia.com].

Ultimate WEAPON (Ground) - If you encounter Ultimate WEAPON while it is on the ground, you can steal a Circlet[finalfantasy.wikia.com].
