Introduction Walking is an amazing way to move around the Map on the popular game set in the Napoleonic wars, ‘ Holdfast : Nations at war’ . With walking you can walk around the map to new positions to engage the enemy team. This guide will give you an introduction to Walking on Holdfast : Nations at war.
Walking ( beginner )
Easy to learn, hard to master. If you have the standard ‘Qwerty’ keyboard, you will know it contains all letters of the English Alphabet, and is the official Language of the United Kingdom, Unites States, Canada, Australia and many more countries around the world.
So after you have your keyboard, look for the letter ” W ”. W is located between Q and E and is above the S key. Simply press the ”W” key and hold it down. as you can see you should start moving forward. when you want to stop, simply release the W key and you will stop.
Congratulations! You have Walked forward! Its easy to learn hard to master.
Walking in Multiple Directions ( Advanced )
Its highly recommended you practice the first step before attempting this
Walking in multiple directions is the more harder aspect of walking. Walking in multiple directions is that, changing direction during the walking motion.
Assuming you read the first step of walking, you should know that the W key makes you go forward.
The same is true for the A, S, and D key, but instead of walking, this will cause your charecter to move :
A = Left
D = Right
S = Backwards
Do some practice moving in these directions. as you can see it opens up more greater options of places to go during walking.
Also note that if you hold 2 keys at once, these will combine into walking in both directions. For example, Holding the ‘ W ‘ Key and ‘ D ‘ Key causes you to move between Forward and right in a diagonal line.
Congratulations! You have now walked in multiple directions.
