Ways to farm credits post-game ("Rolling In Credits" achievement) for Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation

Ways to farm credits post-game (“Rolling In Credits” achievement)

Overview

In this guide, I’ll be compilating some known tactics for grinding credits, to help you get the “Rolling In Credits” achievement, or just get rich in general.

Introduction (Please read! :])

Hey, glad you could stick around! You’re here because you need money, so I’ve got a solution for you (or rather, more than one).

Here, i’ve compiled some tips and strategies to earn as much money as possible that I found on the internet. I’ll be showing you methods to get a lot of credits, and once you have a considerable amount, a technique to make your life easier, in order to get the “Rolling In Credits” achievement itself. As it stands, getting this achievement is one of the most grindy things you can do in the game, along with grinding Lily Ranks for the ten “Loveable” achievements.

This guide is focused on the post-game; most of the stuff listed here is only available after either the Good or True endings. Either way, you shouldn’t really be focusing on getting a lot of money before you attempt the achievement, because it’s not like there’s an economic crisis in Gamindustri or anything… What I’m trying to say is: even without farming creds, you won’t run out of money anytime soon.

Each section of this guide will also tell you the required and recommended plans, items, etc, for the method to function.

Before we start, something needs to be made clear: In order to get the “Rolling In Credits” achievement, you need to have 100mil credits held in total, not 100mil credits held at once. So the money you already spent counts towards the achievement. You can check the total amount of creds you ever held by pausing the game > Nepedia > Play Data > Credits Held.

Now, bear in mind that no guide is ever perfect (mainly your first one, which is my case), and I could use a little help from the community. So, if there are any other strategies I forgot, or just little details that flew over my head, don’t hesitate to comment them, so I can make my guide better.

Grinding Deity Of Sin Redux (Colosseum)

REQUIRED: Colosseum Unlock Plan; Good/True Ending.
RECOMMENDED: “Drill” chip.; Lvl. 200 Goddesses.

IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU’RE UNDERLEVELED ON THIS FIGHT, SKIP TO METHOD TWO!!
ヽ(#`Д´)ノ

Arguably, the most money you can make at once. This will probably be the main way you’ll decide to grind credits until you get bored. This method will give you 500k Credits per fight, but unlike the next section in this guide, using a “Credits Up” Chip will not affect your income. Let me explain.

The fight itself does not give you a lot of money; its drops do.

The Deity Of Sin Redux drops a weapon called “Sonic Blade”, which sells at 500k credits, hence why using a Credits Up Chip will not work. Instead, to make this fight as quick as possible, grind your preferred Goddesses to around lvl. 200 and give them the “Drill” chip, which will refill your SP whenever you go into HDD mode (hence why you only use the Goddesses). Using this strategy will make the fight last about 15-20 seconds, if not less, and will give you a lot of money if you continuously perform it.

Grinding Cat Knights (EM ES Magma Cave)

REQUIRED: “EM ES Magma Cave” Plan; “Change Dungeon: EM ES Magma Cave” Plan; Good/True Ending.
VERY RECOMMENDED: “Destroy Symbols” Plan; “Symbol Gains” Plan.
RECOMMENDED: “Credits Up” Chip.

If you’re underleveled or just not in the mood to fight (let’s be honest, that gets boring and you’ll be doing it for a while), you can always just slap on Destroy Symbols and Symbol Attack Gains and go to the most famous EXP grinding spot: EM ES Magma Cave, in Leanbox, with Dungeon Change” on.

Although the dungeon has made a name for itself due to being able to earn 5 million EXP in one go, it’s a pretty handy place to grind credits aswell.

First, create the “Destroy Symbols” and “Symbol Gains” plans, otherwise you’ll certainly die if you’re not prepared. Then, optionally, create a disc with a Lvl. 4 or 5 “Credits Earned” Chip and give it to your leader character. Afterwards, go to EM ES Magma Cave with Dungeon Change ON and look for the Tough Enemy “Cat Knight”.

Using the Symbol Attack will instantly destroy the poor horse-cat combo and give yourself, aside from 1 million EXP (up to 5 million with Super EXP Up), 170-190k credits, with the Credits Up Disc.

This is useful for players who are not yet high-level enough to fight Deity Of Sin Redux, so use this as an opportunity to easily grind levels and get paid for it.

Stella’s Dungeon & Expensive Materials

REQUIRED: “Unlock Stella’s Dungeon” Plan;
RECOMMENDED: “Histy’s Emergency Aid Plan Pack” DLC (for “Blast Exploring” and “Stella’s Insurance” Plans); Stella’s Dungeon higher areas (15-20)

Using Stella’s Dungeon, you’ll often come across a variety of materials, which, differently from Stella’s weapons and tools, can be sold in the store. These materials’ rarity and price scale up with the areas, meaning higher areas = rare and expensive items.

This method is useful for squeezing in a couple thousand, or even million credits every once in a while, so unless you’re using the PC Clock exploit, it’s not recommended over the two previous methods.

Some materials worth mentioning, all of which you can get from Stella’s Dungeon (preferably from floor 15 to 20):

RARE MATERIALS:
– That Blueprint
– Deployment Shard
– Generous Spirit
– Rare Metal
– Blue Link G
– Electric Switch
– Silkiest Silk
– Overclocked Memory
– Rune Encyclopedia
– Chivalrous Metal
– Rotten Pork Soup
– Legendary Relic
– Valiant Tama

All of the materials listed above are classified as “materials you rarely see”, and each one of them is worth 10k in the store.

NOTABLE MATERIALS – AREA 20:
– Pachimon Circuit: 3.4k creds
– Old Dragon… Head: 2.6k creds
– Magic Shell: 8.3k creds
– Flamin’ Wing: 4.7k creds
– Phantom Bird Wing: 1.1k creds
– Large Fang: 6.8k creds
– Quality Dolphin Tail: 3.2k creds
– Memory Of That Day: 3.1k creds
– God Soul: 2k creds
– Lava Rock Shell: 5.1k creds
– Pronged Magic Damp.: 1.5k creds
– Behemoth Claws: 3.9k creds

Achievement: Rolling In Credits

Once you have a considerable amount of credits in your possession (anywhere from 60mil to 65mil), there’s a trick you can do in order to get the achievement quicker, which does not involve fighting or symbol attacking. And it’s extremely simple:

Go in a store in any city, and with the money you have, buy the most expensive clothing items (the ones where only the clothing changes, not the clothes and hair), then resell them. The money you get back from reselling counts towards your total credit count, so this way, you’ll get to 100mil in a matter of minutes, and finally get the darned achievement.

The end!

Turns out, making guides is really fun! I love writing myself, so writing about something I like so other people can be aided makes me feel nice and helpful.

I got no final words really, I just decided to create this guide because I didn’t see any guides dedicated entirely to farming creds, which is something people ask about online, mainly because of the related achievement. And so I did!

I hope you liked my first guide and all, please leave a rating and tell me what I should edit in order to improve the reading quality. Thanks for reading all the way, you’re cute asf :]
