Welcome to my guide for H&G WWII! Here I would like to give you some effective tips on which modifications will make your weapons into killing machines. Each weapon has pictures and some hints. If you have questions, you can post a comment, or you can add me on Steam. Have fun reading and trying out the mods for your firearms in H&G.

Note: This guide will be updated at the latest with each H&G update to prevent mistakes and close any gaps. For questions and feedback, please use the comment section at the bottom of this guide or visit the group of [StG] Sturmgrenadiere.

Gewehr 43

Anschusspatrone s.S or S.m.E 7.92 Ball

Field Trigger Job

Lightened Spring

Scout II-s

ZF-41 or Field-Adjusted Sights

It take 2 bullets to eliminate an enemy.

My conclusion to the Gewehr 43: Personally, It is the hardest starter weapon in H&G WWII. But if you upgrade it well, you can play it just as well.

Gewehr 43 (Recon)

Anschusspatrone s.S. or S.m.E 7.92 Ball

Field Trigger Job

Light Spring

Scout II-s

ZF-4(German#1)

It takes 2 shots on the body to eliminate an enemy.

My conclusion to the Gewehr 43: A "headshot machine". As a Recon it helps unlock the ribbon "recon" for "no killcam".

Karabiner 98 kurz

Abschusspatrone s.S

Field Trigger Job

Heavy Bolt

Scout II

ZF-41(Infantry Marksman)

A "OneShot" infantry sniper rifle except for "heavy set" (gold).

My conclusion to the Karabiner 98 Kurz: An iconic bolt action weapon and the service rifle of the Wehrmacht. My recommendation is to grind it in "First Encounter" to easily unlock the "one hit kill" potential for it.

Karabiner 98 kurz (Recon)

Abschusspatrone s.S

Fine Hair Trigger

Heavy Bolt

Chorm Moly 4150

ZS Zielacht
(German#4)

The sniper version of the Karabiner 98 Kurz has more advantages than the infantry counterpart. More choice of barrels and scopes.

Panzerbüchse 39

Patrone 318 PanzerGeschoss

(unmodified)

(unmodified)

(unmodified)

Field- Adjusted Sights

The Panzerbüchse 39 is always "one-hit" against infantrymen regardless of whether the enemies have heavy set (silver or gold).
But against planes, vehicles, and tanks I find the weapons personally useless. However, if you have iron fist (gold) and infantry first (gold), then the weapon can be extremely fun. But the Pzb-39 is such an inaccurate weapon. I like to use it in CQB like a " slug shotgun".

Sturmgewehr 44

Kurzpatrone 43

Field Trigger Job

Lightened Spring

(unmodified)

Field Adjusted Sights

Modified to Fire Rate, it takes 4 to 6 shots.

My conclusion to the Sturmgewehr 44: One of my favorite weapons. I think the Rate of Fire is fine, but it is an overused weapon in this game.

Maschinengewehr 13

S.m.E 7.92 Ball

Field Trigger Job

Lightened Spring

Stainless Steel Barrel

Field Adjusted Sights

Modified to high rate of fire, and it takes 3 to 5 shots to kill.

My conclusion to the MG13: The MG13 is a decent weapon. It is well-rounded, but it has recoil comparable to the M1941 Johnson and 5 more shots. I recommend using the badge "fast reload" for the MG13.

Maschinengewehr 34

S.m.E 7.92 Ball

Field Trigger Job

Lightened Spring

Stainless steel barrel

Field Adjusted Sights

Modified to high rate of fire, it takes 3 to 5 shots

The recoil of MG34 is pretty low.

My conclusion to the MG34: Very accurate, great weapon. Right now it is the best German MG.

Maschinengewehr 42

S.m.E 7.92 Ball

(unmodified)

Heavy Spring

Stainless Steel Barrel

Field Adjusted Sights

Modified for accuracy, takes 5 to 7 shots

My MG42 has a slow rate of fire. I still recommend using tight grip (gold), but you can also play with ammo.

My conclusion to the MG42: It's extremely fun with the high rate of fire and the 100 round belt.

Fallschirmjägergewehr 42

S.m.E 7.92 Ball

Fast Trigger

Heavy Spring

Könich FJ-S

Field Adjusted Sights

Modified for controlled fire, takes 2 to 5 shots

My conclusion to the FG42: I think the FG42 is a very unique weapon and it is very rare to see on the battlefield. It is fun to play.

S.m.E 7.92 Ball

Fast Trigger

Heavy Spring

Könich FJ-S

ZF-4 (T-Post)

Modified for DMR Marksman role, takes 2 to 5 shots.

DMR FG42: It is nice when you have the battle pass tracers, use it on this weapon to see better where the shots land.

Maschinenpistole 34

9mm Parabellum or DMW Fuchs

Marksman Trigger Job

Lightend Spring

Stainless Steel Barrel

Field Adjusted Sights

Modified to Fire Rate, it takes 4 to 5 shots

My Conclusion to MP34: This submachine gun is a headshot machine. But the only issue with this gun is the magazine size. It is a very good first submachine gun.

Maschinenpistole 40

9mm Parabellum

Marksman Trigger Job

Lightened Spring

Stainless Steel Barrel

Field Adjusted Sights

Modified to Fire Rate, it takes 3 to 5 shots

My conclusion to the MP40: An excellent submachine gun. 32 rounds, what should I say more about this weapon. An iconic German MP.

Machine Carbine MK1 "Owen"

9mm Parabellum

Field Trigger Job

Lightened Spring/Bolt

Stainless Steel Barrel

Field Adjusted Sights

Modified to Fire Rate, it takes 3 to 5 shots

My conclusion to the Machine Carbine MK1: A solid SMG with 33 rounds. However, it is far too expensive. You're better off buying the MP40.

Modell 1934

7,65mm Ball

Hair Trigger

Light Pistol Spring

Chromed line barrel

Matchsights

Is modded to the rate of fire, you need 4 to 6 shots

Conclusion for the Model 1934: Now that I have found out how to use the M1934, I think this weapon is alright. Warning, it will be extremely expensive with these modifications .... Another positive thing about it is it only uses one equipment slot with 24 rounds.

Pistole C96

9mm Parabellum

Match Trigger

Light Pistol Spring

Chrome Lined Barrel

Match Sights

Modified to high rate of fire, it takes 3 to 5 shots

My conclusion to the C96: An effective pistol with ten rounds in your magazine.

P08 Parabellum

9mm Parabellum

Match Trigger

Heavy Pistol Bolt

Chrome Lined Barrel

Match Sights

You can modify the Luger for damage or fire rate.

My conclusion to the P08 Parabellum: One of my favorites. The Luger is a legendary firearm.

P38 Parabellum

9mm Parabellum

Match Trigger

Light Pistol Spring

Chrome Lined Barrel

Match Sights

Modified to Fire Rate, it takes 3 to 5 shots

My conclusion to the P38 Parabellum: The P38 is a powerful handgun. It is the best pistol in H&G WWII.
