A fun guide to Webber; My guide shows how to obtain this character and how to survive as long as possible with this character.
Webber’s Abilites
Webber has two main abilites.
Webber grows a beard simular to Wilsons but very different in this case. When the beard is cut with a razor, Silk is given to the play instead of the normal beard hair. This beard grows much faster then Wilson’s beard and only takes a total of 9 days for full length (7 days less then Wilson’s). This beard can increase the rate you overheat at in the Summer and can insulate you in the Winter.
Webber also has the ability to feed spiders and essentially “tame” them for a limited amount of time. Spiders will follow you for 1 day when given 1 meat, 2 days when given 2 meat, 3 days when given 3 meat, etc.
- Webber can craft Spider Dens
- Webber takes no damage or Sanity penalty when eating Monster Meat.
- Webber does not get slowed down in/near Spider Dens in there webs.
- Webber does however loses Sanity near the Spider Queen; She however is neutral to Webber.
- Webber can craft and upgrade Spider Dens. These can easily be used as great defenses used to surround your base.
It takes 5 Silk to upgrade a Tier 1 Den to Tier 2; and 5 more Silk to upgrade a Tier 2 base into a Tier 3 Base.
- Nuetral mobs are hostile to Webber
- (Example: Bunnymen) not including Beefalo or Rock Lobsters.
Webber Tips
- Need some silk or glands quickly? Feed a spider; as it follows you, draw it out away from other Spiders and easily kill it; best to do this when the Sun is out and you know the Spider is going to turn neutral again.
- Spiders will kill Chester, so don’t let him walk towards the Spider Dens.
- Feeding a Spider will cause other Spiders to follow you; Use this to draw them towards Pigmen to collect Pig Skins and Meat.
- Spiders will quickly eat meat on the ground so pick them up before them.
- Plant Spider dens around your base and upgrade them by clicking them with Silk for strong defenses.
- Spiders can be used to kill Rabbits and Birds.
- Spiders can easily clear out Pigmen
Webber’s Lore and How to Obtain Webber.
Webber is essentially a young boy trapped in a Spider’s body. Long ago “The Spider” tried to eat this young boy, the nickname “The Indigestible” suggests that he could not be digested by this “Spider” and are now merged together to form one such as a do-gooding parasite.
Fun Facts and How to Obtain Him!:
- Webber has 6 legs instead of the normal 4 legs that all other spiders have.
- Kill multiple spiders for a rare drop; Webber’s Skull. There is a very low chance for this item to drop. After you have recieved this item, dig up a grave and put it in there.
