Overview

A guide that will hopefully get you through the game!

Introduction

WILL: A Wonderful World is truly one of its kind. You play as a God that can alter the characters’ life by chancing their choices and actions. Though, to move forward you have to make the specific right choice.

And, by my experience, that is quite a hassle. The only guide the game had has not all the information, either that or I’m stoopid.
so that’s why I tried to complete this one.

If you have any more extra info, please write them in the comments bellow!

As example, this is how you’ll see the letters and their answers bellow.

Also, other than the game profile card that introduces each character at the beginning of their section. There’s also another profile card, that has a little more info of them, none that are too spoiler-y, I presume. The info is directly taken from the art book, so you can see it as canon info.

At the end of all the characters section, I will also provide an extra comment section where I talk more deeply about the lore of the game and each character.
I highly recommend you to get the art book for yourself!

I made this Guide with the help of the Official WILL: A Wonderful World Artbook and basically replaying the game with the guide that was also in said artbook. Though the artwork gives each letter a number, it doesn’t mean it goes in that order.

Li Wen I

Li Wen’s story is one of the brighter ones out of all the other characters imo.

Li Wen II

Again, I used a lot of words in the first part =)))

The reason for [A2] and [X1] being the same answer is because you need to switch some parts in Yang Ying’s side.

To unlock this you need [S]-rank for “Promise” (Yang-Ying).

Unlocking [X2] will give you “Bitter Memories”.
Too bad in [C] that you’re “Separated In Life”.

To unlock this and “Adventure of a Big Brother”, you need to have the
[E]-rank for “Promise” (Yang Ying) and [X6]-rank for “Formula, Note and Answer” (Li Wen)

Unlocks with [S]-Rank “The Story in the Rainbow”
You’ll be an “Urban Wanderer” if you go through all the endings in this letter.

Wen Zhaoren

Wen Zhaoren is a perfect example of a broken man finding a new hope and will to live.
He deserves to be happy.

mfw I saw the Illustration and read the rest of the letter 👁👄👁

To continue Wen Zhaoren’s line, you need to go back to “Regret” and choose the [A]-end.
Completing this letter with an [S]-rank grants you the “Reunion” achievement.

Jimmy

Honestly he’s such a cutie.

By unlocking all the endings, you’ll receive the “King Of Fights” achievement.

To unlock this and “The Story in the Rainbow”, you need to have the
[E]-rank for “Promise” (Yang Ying) and [X6]-rank for “Formula, Note and Answer” (Li Wen)

Get to [S] and you’ll have “Hong Kong Drift”.

Having [S] especially gives you the “Doctor in the House” achievement.

If you get [S] you’ll receive the “Superpower Me” Ending-Achievement.

Carlos I

He’s such a precious bean, I swear.

In order to unlock this and “Life Unknown” you need to reach [S] rank in Alicia’s “A Boy with a Baseball Cap”.

Successfully escaping the guards gives you “The Keen Tracker” Achievement.

Since this is connected to 2 letters, you’ll need to move the pieces across 3 letters.
This will only show you what is on Carlos’ letter.
Please check Pi’s and Hotaru’s letters to see which one connects to the ending you want.

[S] and [X5] are the same but Hotaru- or Pi’s side are different.

It’s worth noting that the [X]-endings don’t necessity line up together.
Example: Pi’s [X1]-end lines up with Carlos’ [X5] and Hotaru’s [X4].

Carlos II

Yes, I took up too much space XD

You were “So Close” in [X4] but “Yet So Far” for [S].

[S] and [X4] are the same but Alicia’s side is different.

Chang Gyeong-Min I

Unlocks when you pick [X]-end for “Here I come” (Chang Gyeong-Min).

The 2 grey squares are only unlocked after you reach [S]-rank for “Bastards” Kang Baek-Ya and come back to redo this letter.

Unlocking the [Z]-rank gives you “The Tale of a Soap” Achievement. Aka prolly one of my favorite artworks ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Okay so the thing with this stupid letter to achieve [S] or [A] is that you need to place “Toy gun” underneath the last long block text and NOT directly underneath the “I took the form” text.
I couldn’t for the life of me figure it out (and numerous times stopped playing it cause i didn’t understand what i was doing wrong), until I dragged “Toy gun” lower in Chang Gyeong-Min’s letter.

Chang Gyeong-Min II

I’m incredibly annoyed by the fact that I didn’t have enough space in the first part for Chang Gyeong-Min.

If you unlock [X3] you receive the “For Justice” achievement.
Also this took me way longer to figure out…

In order to get the [S]-rank you need to achieve [S]-rank for “Meow, Meow, Meow” (Spottie).
In other words, play through some more letters until you reach the mentioned above letter.
The last [X] will be grayed out when you achieve [S] in “Meow, Meow, Meow”.

By getting the [X2]-end you’ll get the “It’s another life” achievement.

The last [X] let’s you find out who “The Man in the Shadow” is.

With [A] Gyeong-Min is able to find his so called, “My Own Justice”.

To unlock this you need t achieve [Z]-rank for “Soap Opera” (Chang Gyeong-Min)
With [S] Gyeong-Min is finally “Agent Chang”.

Alicia I

I LOVE her character design, she’s so pretty.

Alicia II

Apparently I wrote a lot in the first part, so here’s Alicia’s second part!

By unlocking [S] you’ll get the “Assassin Training” achievement.

You were “So Close” in [X4] but “Yet So Far” for [S].

Kang Baek-Ya

Once you’ve achieved [S]-rank please go back to “Case:Kidnapping” (Chang Gyeong-Min) to unlock [S] and [X].

The reason that the last two [X]-rank both have (Nothing) has to do with Chang Gyeong-Min’s side of the letter.

If Gyeong-Min wasn’t involved it would have been like “Peace” in [S2].

[S] -> Unlocked once you reach [S] “Key Evidence” (Chang Gyeong-Min)
[S2] -> Unlocked when you pick [A] or [X2] “Lives in the Archives” (Chang Gyeong-Min)
[X3] -> Unlocked when you have not reached [S] “Key Evidence” (Chang Gyeong-Min)

Park Sang-Gun

Seriously, once you get to this baby, bring out your tissues TwT. Protect him at all cost!

After unlocking [S] you’ll receive a progress achievement called “Pheonix from the Ashes”.
By unlocking (B) you’ll learn “The Dark Truth”.
Replaying this really took a toll on my heart. Bby Sang-Gun, you deserved so much better ;w;

Spottie

To be fair, I wanted to say this one is light hearted.. But it isn’t. Also, I keep laughing at Spottie’s voice, I love it so much.

Unlocking [S] gives you the “Home Sweet Home” achievement.
Unlocking the [X2] gives you the “Into the Wild” achievement.

[S] -> unlocks when you choose [X]-rank for “Piece Of Soap” (Spottie)
[X2] -> unlocks when you choose any other rank expect [X] for “Piece Of Soap” (Spottie)

Rocky

I wish there was more of his character, I liked him quite a bit.

Unlocking the [A]-rank gives you the “Bunk Bros” achievement.

Yang Ying

Pi =)

Honestly, he’s a psycho but a very cute one.

In order to unlock this and “Cell 28” you need to reach [S] rank in Alicia’s “A Boy with a Baseball Cap”.

Myth

Failing to complete all the letters in time gives you the “Gone With The Dreams” achievement.
But completing to finish the letters within the given time, gives you the following situations:
And also the achievement “Back to the Past”.

Only able to unlock this if you finish your remaining letters in time.

Only able to unlock this if you finish your remaining letters in time.

When you do, please retry “Please Wake Up”.

Extra corner!

I also mainly created this section for my own amusement because I really love the game and the characters! Great source material for fun doodles!
My question to you now is: should I make a separate “guide” for story/lore and the characters? Or keep it in this section?
