Windows 10 crash on new game

Here and there, you can read that the game is not suitable for modern Systems and Processors but no one seems to have any solution...

Here is one that worked for me (Windows 10, 8 core):
1) Once you have launched the game, before launching your new game or load your saved game, display the task manager (Ctrl + Alt + Del -> Task manager)
2) In the "Details" tab, find the Darsksiders executable (DarksidersPC.exe) then right click -> Define affinity
3) Deselect all processors and select only CPU 0 -> OK
4) Return to the game and start your new game (or load your saved game)

Unfortunately, this setting is ephemeral and you will have to redo this manipulation each time you restart the game.
