Wolf’s Xing Tian Arena guide

Overview

This is a guide about how I personnally use Xing Tian in arena, I have not adapted/tested this yet for conquest or siege, but it works a little bit for joust, assault, and clash providing your team has excellent burst potential. This Builds’ focus is HP5.THIS GUIDE IS INCOMPLETE.

Intro to Xing Tian’s Arena

The role of a guardian is often a confusing one for most. Your objective is not to get kills, or clear lane. Your job is to take damage, and take it like a champ. Arena is little different in this regard, you just actually have a few MORE things to do then you would in other game modes. I will go over this in detail later on but here is a quick list of things that you need to do as your team’s guardian in arena.

  • Maintain a presence on the front line
  • Isolate potential targets for your team
  • Rescue your allies when possible
  • Push the lane when risk is low
  • ESCORT THE HEAVY MINION

Teach the enemy true despair with the blade of your Axe.

Auto-skill / abilities

This will show you at what level and when I rank up a specific skill. As well as a description of each skill.

Like the note on the side says 36 HP5 at max stacks, best to use sky cutting axe and Furious roar to build stacks.

This is your GO-TO damaging ability read it carefully, and be amazed that you can do percentage based damage over time, great for killing heavy minions and gods alike. That is 210 + 60% magical, with an additional 12% enemy max health damage every 14 seconds and it makes it harder for them to kill you, good thing we use cool down items.

This is your primary crowd control. You don’t need this at a high level early on so despite the great benefits it has, we will be leveling Furious Roar first, but this comes second partially due to high mana cost in comparision …but that % damage on roar.

This ability we primarily use as a way to get around, despite it’s low range it makes for a decent escape skill as well as to build and maintain stacks of Smouldering Rage. Despite the brief protection bonus this provides, we level this last due to not needing the damage or mana cost to increase.

Last but not least the Ultimate. The cooldown doesn’t change, and the mana cost doesn’t change. Putting ranks into this just gives us pure damage during use. We level this alongside but also after Hook Slam. This is your gank starter throw an unlucky fellow into a crowd of your teamates, make sure to warn them first of course. Ult > Hookslam > Roar > bathe in the blood.
