In this game like in the first of this trilogy (Wolfenstein: The New Order) you can choose between saving from death the Scottish pilot Reid Fergus or the tyro Probst Wyatt III.
Your choise will have an influence in the game changing story and some parts of the gameplay.
The biggest gameplay difference is that each character is tied to a weapon. If you save Wyatt you’ll get the DieselKraftWerk an explosive minethrowing weapon capable of blowing up clusters of enemies and dealing heavy damage to robotic foes.
Choose to save Fergus and he gives you the LaserKraftWerk an energy weapon capable of disintegrating foes and blowing down obstacles.
