With the introduction of the latest update, Patch 2.7.3p2a. We now have a ranking system based on your XP. This also comes with a penalty system upon death in Multiplayer. A death will cost you 500xp and a 6 second respawn time.
I will not go into detail on these ranks or add related achievements as they will pop as you progress your wolf. You can keep track of your stats by opening the pack stats.

Mission Achievements
Get rejected by a potential mate.
To achieve this you need to find a dispersal female or male depending on gender of your wolf and just say the wrong things until they run away.
Additional related achievements,
See “Slough Who?”
See “Hangin’ with the Druids”
See “A fine Specimen”
See “A jack of all territories”
Get a mate!
To achieve this when you find a dispersal wolf once you have got 800 XP. To successfully get a mate you need to say these things in order
“Hello there”
“I like you”
“Let’s Play!”
“Let’s Start a Pack” X2
One you have filled the heart gauge and asking to start a pack for the second time. The achievement will pop.
Choose a den.
Once you have your mate and move to Slough Creek you have a choice of three dens. Choose one and the achievment will pop.
Additional related achievements,
See “Under a broken tree”
See “Just a pile of rocks”
See “Under the Fir tree”
See “Just being thorough”
Mark your territory in Slough Creek.
Once you have chosen a den you have to mark your territory to fend off stranger wolfs and other predators. You have a half circle perimeter to fill which is done by marking by pressing “P” which gives 1% boosts or howling using “H” giving 5%. Once you have marked enough territory the achievement will pop.
Finish training your pups.
Train your pups to stay close to the den by picking them up and returning them to the den when they wander to far. Also raise the affinity with your pack by howling and doing emotes like play bow. Once affinity has reached desired level the achievement will pop.
Finish defending your den.
Defend your den against stranger wolfs and predators. The achievement will pop and you will move on to the next stage of pup care.
Kill the calf at the cattle ranch.
When hunting for food for your pups there is the option to go to the ranch and kill a calf for food. You have to sneak round the cows and strike the calf. Be as quick as possible because once you hear the dogs you are in trouble and need to escape quick. To find the cattle ranch you must have already chosen a den. The ranch is not marked on the map but its very close to the creek where it says Slough Creek on the map. On the compass there is a picture of a barbed wire fence just head towards that to enter the ranch. The purple cloud is your entry and exit point.
Lose your life at the cattle ranch.
If you are not quick enough in escaping after killing the calf, or you spook the cows which will alert the dogs who then alert the farmer. You will get shot by the farmer and the achievement will pop. Before entering the ranch save get killed then reload is a good way to get this without losing progress.
Finish feeding and growing your pups.
Once your pups have reached a good weight it is time to set off for the summer hunting grounds.
End goal missions Achievements
These do not stack and each one will require completing. For example if you complete 4 pups on highest difficulty it will not unlock 4 pups on the lower difficulties. Also for example if you complete 4 pups on any difficulty you will need to replay the difficulty again with 1 pup to get that achievement. Grindy 😀

Kill 1Cow Elk

Kill 10 Cow Elk
See “Tired of Elk meat”
Kill 100 Cow Elk
Go to your nearest hunting ground marked as a reddy/orange circle on you map and hunt Cow Elk. This can be done over many games as long as you are using the same wolf. Click on pack stats ingame to see your kill counter and to keep tabs on what you have done.
Multiplayer: Work with your pack to kill an Elk
Join an online game and kill a Cow Elk with your pack.
Kill 1 Bull Elk
See “Matador”
Kill 25 Bull Elk
Bull Elk deal massive damage. The best way to take them down is with a pack on multiplayer or if you are on single player you want to take out a lot of cow elk in the near area. Attack, fall bakc, feed rinse and repeat.
Multiplayer: Work with your pack to kill a Bull Elk
Much easier online with packs of up to 8. More fun too.
Kill 1 Hare
See “The hare slayer”
Kill 10 Hares
See “The hare slayer”
Kill 100 Hares
There is no specific hunting ground for Hares they will just jump out of foliage when you are running around. My advice is everytime you see a Hare is to get them 😀
Kill 1 Coyote
See “Coyote Exterminator”
Kill 10 Coyotes
See “Coyote Exterminator”
Kill 100 Coyotes
Like with Hares there is no specific hunting ground for Coyotes. You will find them on your travels and when defending your pups. Like with the Hares any you see hunt them down with no mercy 😀
Chase away 1 Eagle
See “You’re Ill-Eagle!”
Chase away 10 Eagles
See “You’re Ill-Eagle!”
Chase away 50 Eagles

Chase away 1 Grizzly Bear
See “Fearless”
Chase away 10 Grizzly Bear
See “Fearless”
Chase away 50 Grizzly Bear
Similar to Eagles, but they can appear in the wild before pups. The best way to tackle a Grizzly is to run at it from behing or the side, strike loop round and repeat. It only take approx 4-5 hits and the bear will run. Do not face them head on or you will surley die.
Related Achievements,
See “An error in judgement”
Lose your life to a Grizzly Bear
Attack that bear head on! Might be worth saving before hand.
Chase away 1 Predator Wolf
See ” Defender in Chief”
Chase away 10 Predator Wolves
See ” Defender in Chief”
Chase away 50 Predator Wolves
Once you have pups and are defending your territory you will get random attacks from predator wolves. Chase them away before they get your pups.
Lose a pup to a predator
This can happen during the feeding, defending and journey stages, they can be picked of by predators. Of course you could always save let this happen and reload.
A puppy dies of hunger
This can happen during the feeding, defending and journey stages. The red bar above the pups show their food level if this completley depletes the pup will die of starvation 🙁
Win 1 encounter with a stranger wolf
See “King of the Hill”
Win 10 encounters with a stranger wolf
See “King of the Hill”
Win 50 encounters with a stranger wolf
To win the encounter with a stranger wolf you need to make the wolf submit or just straight up kill them whichever comes first. Use the “Back off I’m the boss” option. There are some rarer ocassions where you come across a wolf who does not want to fight. You then have the option of “Your not my family” and they usualy back down.

Action Achievements Continued
Provoke a lounging Cougar
Related Achievements,
See “Bye-bye, Kitty”
See “Just Embarrassing”
Kill a Cougar
This one seems to be more about luck than anything else. As alot of the time when you are hurting the Cougar it will just run away and you will no be able to catch it.
I finally managed to kill one, I did this on multiplayer. Once it started to run away you can keep up with it. Unlike in single player where it goes super fast and despawns.
Related Achievements,
See “Hello, Kitty”
See “Just Embarrassing”
Lose your life to a Cougar
Same with the “Error in judgement” Achievement. Attack that cougar head on or just let him kill you.
Chase away 1 Cougar
See “Canines Rule”
Chase away 10 Cougars
See “Canines Rule”
Chase away 50 Cougars
Very much like the Grizzly Bears. Can be found wandering the wild or will attempt to attack you pups. Attack them until they run away, like with the Grizzlys you want to attack from the side or the back or you will take massive damage.
Related Achievements,
See “Scardey Cat”

Watch a Fox mousing in the grass
This one requires you to find a Fox and not attack them in Amethyst Mountains. Follow them from a good distance as not to spook it. The Fox will randomly start digging at the ground and then pounce, if you watch this animation uniterupted the achievement should pop

Watch a Fox mousing in the snow
This one requires you to find a Fox and not attack them in Slough Creek. Follow them from a good distance as not to spook it. The Fox will randomly start digging at the ground and then pounce, if you watch this animation uniterupted the achievement should pop
Related Achievements,
See “Pouncer”
See “Outfox the Fox”
Kill a Fox
This one I found quite difficult as the Fox’s are so fast. I found a fox and chased him for over 10 minutes and could not get close. You may be able to adjust stats to make a fox hunting wolf for this achievement. What I eventually did was turn him into heavy forested areas so he kept running into the trees. Eventually he made a mistake and I got him.
Related Achievements,
See “Pouncer”
See “Deep Dive”
Kill a Cow Moose
See “Many Moosen”
Kill 10 Cow Moose
See “Many Moosen”
Kill 25 Cow Moose
This may be easier said than done. I reckon its going to take lots of looping attacks like when you kill a Bull Elk or multiplayer packs. But the Cow Moose seems to hit even harder than a Bull Elk and killed me in like 5-7 hits.

Kill a Bull Moose
See “Not Moosing Around”
Kill 20 Bull Moose
Considering the absolute power of the Cow Moose. This is more than likely going to be Mutilplayer pack kills only as they are immensley powerful and can kill you in approx 2-3 hits.
Related Achievements,
See “Once In A Blue Moose”
See “Dont Moose With Us”
See “I Am Not A-Moosed”
Multiplayer Kill A Bull Moose Together
Even with 8 of us this took some doing. If it was there was no respawn we would have failed, as we all died at least once. I didnt get the achievement first time and will keep trying to get it.
