Overview

This is Just a Brief Guide from my own personal experience, and my current Progress?1. Max 2 Beginner Internal Martial Art*One given at the Beginner Town Quest where you complete your Master request. (Max Level 10)*The other given by the Story-Line Quest where you on your Quest to Discover you Identity. ( Max Level 10 )2. Unlock all my Life skill Crafting Function.What am I doing Right now????1. Spam mini-game to raise Hunting and Alchemy Level (Repeat N Time)2. Grind Arena for Everything ( It a very slow progress, yeah, but who care, it my style) (Repeat N Time) Grind until it Give nothing3. Roaming around the World Map in order to encounter events.4. Visit all Town whenever I can to check all NPC for any possible dialogue. 5. Refrain from all Mission Target which I cannot defeat for the time being.What Path I follow and what Skill I Life-skill I pick?I follow the Path of the Blade and the Art of Communication.What Sect I Join?I join no Clan or Sect, I am a free Wanderer. The only concern I have now is the Timeline for Some Event or Quest?Do I need to complete them within specific year or anything? Oh well, that will be my concern for the later stage once I stable my foundation.My Goal is to make all Mastery[Sword/Blade/Staff/Fist] to Level 30 and all Life-skill Level 60. Once I complete my self-made Goal, then I will see whichever Sect I want to Join.(By that time, I believe I will have a lot of left-over skill point untouched which I can use it to upgrade the Martial Art given by the Sect)Please don’t ask for Picture or Video, I am just doing this out of my own Free Will, I been writing and editing this whole thing since 2.30AM and now the time is 5.38AM April 19th and I still have to go to work in real life which start at 12PMMore detail please check on the Sections

Grinding for Money, Skill Mastery and Talent Skill —- Fighting Arena/Stage

One of the Town after you exit from the Starter Village, go to the Right side Town.
Find the Martial Art Fighting Stage, just keep on spam and grind for exp and money (slow progress but who care, it a single player game, you compete with nobody but yourself) or you just basically run around the world map for any encounter/events/enemy.

Tips 1:
Follow the Main Character Story-line – Discover your Identity (Which you will get Skill Point -To upgrade your Martial Art or Internal Art)

Tips 2: Before any Fight for Mission/Quest Target, just Save Your Progress. (You will Die if your opponent overpower you, unless it a sparring match)

Tips 3: Max Level your Internal Martial Art, it a Passive Stat Upgrade whenever you Learn a New Internal Martial.

Tips 4: If you plan to Join a Sect , make sure you match their Criteria. (Reputation, Mastery Skill and Life skill (Drinkings, Cooking, Weaponsmiths, Communication, etc…)

Tips 4: Talk to Everyone Single NPC to unlock Dialogue for Everything (Event, Recipes, Money, Story-line , Quest)

Tips 5: When you encounter Treasure Box, Save your Progress before you Open, so when you open, you dont like what you get, just re-load the data, well that is if you really want to try your luck and keep “Gacha”.

Tips 6: Invest 1 Point each on all Life-skill to Unlock their Crafting Function

Before you Leveling the Life-skill, make sure you Unlock the Function.
I will be using the Starter Village as Example.

The following NPC will increase your Life skill Mastery to 20 in-exchange for 1 month timeline.

Level Drinking Skills – Buy variety of Alcohol and spam drinking it (Provided if you have a lot money)

Level Communication Skill – Just go through daily transaction of whatever you want to Buy and Sell

Level Hunting/Gathering Skill – Play the Mini-game from their respective NPC .

• Hunting mini-game will increase Observation level at the same time it will give you food ingredient require for Food Crafting

  Gathering NPC
  

• Gathering mini-game will increase Medic level at the same time it will give Potion and Poison ingredient

Poison NPC

Level Cooking Skill – Mini-Game they will drop the relevant ingredient, Find a Chef NPC, Craft them after you learn the recipe.

*Unlock more Recipe through NPC Dialogue, just roam around town from town, sect from sect, talk to all NPC to learn new Recipes

Level Equipment Skill – Use the Ore you Mine from the World Map, Hunting[Mini-game] and Find a Blacksmith to craft them after you learn the recipe.

To be Honest, It doesn’t really Matter which Path you Follow, be it the Path of Sword/Blade/Staff/Fist. You will be Awarded 10 Mastery for the Path you want to Follow, it just give you a head start to complete the Criteria for Joining a Sect.

If you Follow the Path of Sword, you given 10 Mastery for Sword.
If you Follow the Path of Blade, you given 10 Mastery for Blade.
If you Follow the Path of Staff, you given 10 Mastery for Staff.
If you Follow the Path of Fist, you given 10 Mastery for Fist.

It really doesn’t matter whichever Sect you Join or whichever Path you follow, you can learn any or basically majority or all of the skill if you fulfill the Criteria for the NPC. – The NPC will give you the Skill if your relationship with him/her is very good, it take time (You will encounter NPC through World Map roaming or from Sparring Match)

Basically if you follow through the Story-line you will unlock more feature.

If you want a “FAST GUIDE” I will recommend you follow this 2 combination.
Path of Fist and Want to be Rich , these 2 will speed up your progress for Questing and Playing.

If You choose the Path of Fist, you align with the Agenda for the Story-line Quest and the next Option of Wanting to be Rich, your Master(Starter Village) will give you more money.

You can just Join the Sect that is willing to take you as their disciple through the story-line where you can Focus on the Fist Sect , the very first Quest you seek to Find out Your Real Identity.

From there on, you just do the Sect Quest etc to speed up everything. I will not be focus on this path, so if you want a “head start” just follow this 2 combination which I recommend, and you will be your own from there on.

Whichever you choose make sure take the following Item at the Starting Village.

Combination of Starter Village

When you Load the Game for the First time after you key in your name. You will talk with your Master, your Master will give you the following option for your Path to walk on

• Concentrate on the Path of Sword [Awarded 10 Mastery Sword]
• Concentrate on the Path of Blade [Awarded 10 Mastery Blade]
• Concentrate on the Path of Fist [Awarded 10 Mastery Fist]
• Concentrate on the Path of Staff [Award 10 Mastery Staff]

After choosing any of it , the Master will ask you to choose the area of life-skill you want to concentrate on.

• Art of Drinking [Awarded 20 Mastery]
  • Different type of Alcohol will increase different stat but overall Art of Drinking will increase your Internal Power[Mana] and Buff Effect upon Drunkard State

• Art of Observation [Awarded 20 Mastery]
  • Capable of observing NPC window stat[Useful for Quest Target] , not much that I aware of, never really focus on this talent map.

• Art of Knowledge [Awarded 20 Mastery, Opening Treasure Box will Increase Knowledge Mastery]
  • Reduce skill point needed to Invest on your Internal Martial Art and Martial Art Skill.

• Art of Cooking [Awarded 20 Mastery]
  • Crafting Food to increase Character stat
    [Invest talent point to Unlock more advance Food recipe under this talent map]

• Art of Medic [Awarded 20 Mastery]
  2 Talent point is needed if you want to Invest both Potion and Poison crafting.
  • Crafting Potion to cure various ailment and help to restore your Health and Internal Power[Mana] during Battle [You need to equip the Potion first] and certain NPC Quest require you to have at least 60 Mastery on Medic.
  • Crafting Poison to poison your enemy, certain Sect and Internal Martial Art and Quest require you to have some Mastery on Poison.

• Art of Communication/Trading [Awarded Mastery]
  • Reduce cost of Buying and unlock Special NPC Trader[Sell various useful Martial Arts and Internal Martial Art]
  • Unlock more NPC daily conversation and help to increase NPC relationship.

• Art of Equipment Crafting [Awarded 20 Mastery]
  • Crafting various equipment to provide additional support for your Battle.
    [Invest talent point to Unlock more advance recipe under this talent map]

  Different Sect have their own criteria[Martial Path and Life-skill] in order for you to Join them, make sure you fulfill their requirement.
  After you choose your Life-skill to focus on, the Master will ask you want you wish to become

  • Rich Merchant that focus on Wealth [Awarded you 40 Liang]
  • Undefeated Martial Artist that know no defeat [Awarded you 1 Internal Martial Art]
  • Influential Person with a lot Connection [Increase your Reputation]
  • Hero that help without any benefits [Increase your Heroic deed]

  Some combination I recommend if you want to have a Easy-Path

  • Path of Sword + Art of Drinking + Undefeated Martial Artist or Rich Merchant
  • Path of Fist + Art of Drinking + Undefeated Martial Artist or Rich Merchant

  Above mention combination will give you a easy start , at least it will help you to defeat early NPC Target provided you Max Level your starting Internal skill. It will help to speed up the boost on increasing your Internal Power[Mana pool] to 1k, once you reach minimum 1k Internal Power[Mana pool] , you will be able to use 2 Martial Art skill that require 2 action point, which will deal total of 1k+ damage [Provided you Max the Martial Art skill]

  That is the Scenario if you Choose Undefeated Martial Artist , if you choose Rich Merchant instead, just buy more wine to increase your stat further.
