Xenoverse Trivia Facts Part #1

Overview

In this guide, I list you some trivial facts in Xenoverse.

Kaioken X20 + Neo-Tribeam #1

Kaioken x20 + Neo-Tribeam may be a great idea, but little did you know, Neo-Tribeam can only blast a maximum of 11 times no matter how much stamina you have.

Victory Rush vs Baked Sphere #2

Victory Rush can cancel out Baked Sphere, but won’t continue attacking. (Baked Sphere will still damage your stamina a tiny bit, and successfully destroy your health if you have no stamina to guard with at all).

Vanishing During Block #3

This one is actually in the tutorial, but who reads those, right? If you vanish behind the enemy while blocking, it will consume only one bar of your stamina rather than two.

Full Power Blast Volley #4

Wait, wait. Isn’t Full Power Blast Volley just a crappy move that shoots all over the place and misses nearly every shot… every time?

Close, but if Full Power Blast Volley is comboed into a basic combo attack, your enemy’s body will attract every blast you unleash from it like a magnet, with no misses and decent damage.

Make sure to activate Full Power Blast Volley straight after knocking an enemy away with a basic combo. (Boost kicking does not work with this).

It’s really quite satisfying.

Blast Cancels #5

1. Kamehameha blast attack can be cancelled by jumping on the first 2 seconds of you charging it. This can be used to cancel out sluggish movements. Instead of waiting for your opening to disappear, Kamehameha is always available to get activated and then cancelled so that you’d take yourself straight out of it. (Advanced PvP technique)

2. Tri-beam can be cancelled by blocking. Doesn’t provide the same technique for sluggish movement cancelling, but it’s good if you’ve made a mistake activating Tri-beam at a certain point in the match.

Super Saiyan + Burning Spin #6

Super Saiyan almost expired? Activate Burning Spin ultimate, you’ll be immune to everything except the Blue Hurricane, and have
enough time for your stamina to recover during the ultimate.

I’m serious. Blue Hurricane will crack you open while in Burning Spin, but nothing else will be able to get to you.

Ultimate Auto Lock-on #7

Victory Rush and Teleporting Vanishing Ball will automatically lock onto the closest target if no target is selected. This can possibly work at any distance between the targets.

Automatically Knocking Away Q/O/B Ki Blasts #8

Basic Ki blasts (Excluding Arcosians) can be knocked away automatically when flown through. Same goes for Finish Breaker blast.

Heatdome Weakness #9

Heat Dome Attack is vulnerable when the blast is released. Walk through the blast at the bottom towards your enemy as they’re blasting up and break their stamina by charging your heavy attack.

Don’t mind the energy from the blast covering the body. It’s practically not even there once the blast is released.

Hellzone Grenade Counter #10

Hellzone Grenade may seem overpowered and inescapable, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

There are two actions to this ultimate. One is where it freezes you, and the other is where it begins its attack. If you block DURING the first action, you will not freeze no matter what. Learn its timing, and boost away from its second action.

This blast’s weakness makes it nearly useless, and all this “timing” is a lot easier than it sounds.
